With my 40th birthday on the horizon, I’ve been thinking a lot about life, the paths we take, and how differently our journeys can unfold.
Some people seem to find success early, others take the longer road, and some find themselves in the right place at the right time when everything finally falls into place.
We all have our own journeys, challenges, and timelines.
The older I get, the more I realise that life isn’t always just about how hard you work, how talented you are, or how much you want something.
Sometimes, it also comes down to who you know, the opportunities you’re exposed to, and being in the right place at the right time. 🍀
The right connection can open doors you didn’t even know existed. One conversation, one introduction, or one unexpected opportunity can change the direction of your life.
Of course, hard work, ambition, and perseverance matter.
But so do circumstances, relationships, luck, and timing. Not everyone gets the same opportunities at the same time, and everyone’s journey looks different.
As I approach 40, I’m realising that life isn’t a race, and there’s no one-size-fits-all timeline. It’s a mixture of choices, chances, connections, and timing.
You can do everything right and still have to wait for your moment, while someone else might stumble into an opportunity that changes everything.
Maybe it’s not always about being behind or ahead.
Maybe it’s about trusting your own journey, staying open to opportunities, and remembering that life can change when you least expect it. ✨
