Due to a complaint, we kindly request that if off-road parking is available, residents avoid parking on Bunwell Street so as to improve access for larger vehicles.

Thank you.

Looks like another Truespeed/County Broadband outage in the area. I've emailed them to let them know it's affecting Bunwell. I will chase them by phone from 8am if the service is still down, and mention it's also affecting Carleton Rode.

Downed lines can and have killed at all times of year and in all weather conditions. Stay at least 10 metres away and call 105 immediately (free from all mobiles and landlines). - MC

⚠️ Stay well clear of fallen trees and power lines

With strong winds continuing, we’re receiving reports of fallen trees, damaged power lines and other weather-related hazards.

If you come across a fallen tree, branch or overhead cable, always assume it’s live and keep well away. Power lines can remain dangerous even if they look undamaged. Never try to remove debris yourself.

If you’re not sure whether power lines are involved, please report it to us so our teams can check and make the area safe. For trees or debris clearly unrelated to power lines, such as blocking a road with no cables nearby, please contact your local council.

Our teams are out in masses responding to any damage to our network and working towards restoration.

Thank you for helping keep yourself, your family and your community safe. 💙
