Our large Scarab sweeper driver has been working hard to keep Gypsy Lane in Creswell clear and tidy.
As a known problem area and a key route to a local school, regular sweeping is essential, especially as wetter weather sets in.
This is just one example of the ongoing work the sweeper driver carries out to help keep our roads and pathways clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and school users alike.

Ghouls and ghosts - and even a traffic cone - have had a frightfully good time at our Sports Splash programme this half term!
We had 182 attendances of children aged six to 13 across the week, with youngsters taking part in activities including swimming, dodgeball, football, basketball, castleball, cross-fire games, handball, soft play, hoops, inflatables, bouncy castles, badminton, pickleball, table tennis, dance mats and tag games.
It culminated in a Halloween-themed UV glow-stick disco.
Watch out for our next Sports Splash scheme in February, and keep an eye out for more photos and video from across the week over the coming days.

Bolsover District Council, along with South Normanton Parish Council, is proud to have donated to a fundraising campaign to give South Normanton's much-loved 'Derek the Dinosaur' a new lease of life.
Arts organisation Junction Arts has launched a campaign to help restore the popular concrete landmark at South Street Recreation Ground, as the charity celebrates its 50th anniversary.
Derek has watched generations of children grow up since 1977.
Now Junction Arts wants to uncover his story, give him a much-needed makeover and ensure he remains part of the community for another 50 years.
Residents have expressed a strong desire to see Derek restored and now Junction Arts plans to combine archival research, community activities and creative refurbishment to bring Derek back to life.
The project will include essential repairs and improvements to help ensure the structure is safe and durable, alongside opportunities for local people, particularly young residents, to help shape his new appearance and story.
Junction Arts is now seeking support for the project by asking people to choose the charity as their local cause through the Co-op Local Community Fund.

Our Streetscene North area mini sweeper driver has been hard at work clearing the Greenway in Clowne.
It had become an almost unusable 'carpet' of wet leaves.
This well-used route - which is part of the Bolsover Loop network of trails - provides an important link from the railway area through to Linear Park and is popular with walkers, cyclists and residents.
Regular sweeping helps keep the path clean, safe and welcoming for everyone who uses it, and this is just one of the many areas our mini sweeper driver helps maintain across the district.
