Operation Christmas Child demonstrates God's love to children in need worldwide.

Since 1993, more than 209 million shoebox gifts (full of toys, school supplies, accessories and hygiene items) have been delivered to children in more than 100 countries. Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan's Purse International - a non-denominational evangelical Christian organisation providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan's Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God's love through His Son, Jesus Christ.

This Sunday: Global Call to Prayer 🙏

As we start the 2026 shoebox season, we’re coming together in prayer. This Sunday, children from around the world will lead us through an evening of prayers over Operation Christmas Child 2026—and we’d love for you to be a part of it!

We’ll be praying for every step of the shoebox journey, from collection right through to discipleship. Please do pray with us, for our partner churches, volunteers and collection centre teams, as well as the children who will receive shoebox gifts this year. ✨

📅 Sunday 1 November, 11pm (UK time)
➡️ For more info and links, visit sampur.se/4zllhsD

🕰️ Can’t stay up that late? Don’t worry. We’ll be sharing a recording on our YouTube channel so you can watch and pray in your own time.

Ever wondered what happens when a church community comes together with a heart to serve?

At Ackhill Baptist Church in Wales, volunteers packed and wrapped 204 shoebox gifts for children in need around the world!!

Here's what a couple of the volunteers said about the experience:
💬 "I never realised how much thought and effort went into filling the boxes."
💬 "It was lovely to share the filling of the shoeboxes together."

Every shoebox gift is packed with love, prayer, and represents a child who will hear the Gospel. Thank you to everyone who gave their time to help make these special gifts possible!
