Rampton Primary School A small rural primary school for children aged 2 to 11 years old. We have a family feel and there is always lots going on. We know you won't be disappointed.

Rampton Primary is a friendly local village school for girls and boys aged 2 to 11 years rated 'good' with Ofsted. We are passionate about providing enriching and inspiring experiences as part of our curriculum. Our fabulous team aim to empower all our pupils to gain the knowledge and skills they require to succeed and live truly wonderful, fulfilling lives. We have our own pre-school based at the school and are able to take children from the age of 2 years. We currently offer full days from Monday to Wednesday and morning sessions until 12.15pm on Thursday and Fridays. We intend to extend to 5 full days as soon as we are able. Rampton also offers breakfast and after-school clubs for all children. Our teacher-lead Nursery supports those early milestone developments and a child centred, hugely enriching environment. One strength of our school is the fact that every member of staff knows and can support every single child and every child can approach any member of staff. That's how RPS can provide an individualised and unique experience. You can find out information about our daily activities throughout our Facebook feed but if you would like any further information about the school please visit our website, send us an email or contact us via this page and we will happily answer any questions. Come and have look around if you want to see us in action.

What a fantastic time we had at our Halloween disco! The dance floor was full of spooky moves and we were blown away by the amazing costumes!

Our spooky bake off and pumpkin carving competition showcased some fang-tastic creativity, with some truly impressive (and terrifying!) entries.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make it such a fun-filled, spooky celebration!

With Halloween around the corner, what do you think will be our book focus next week? 🎃

'Why are there no pictures of children?'

Here at Rampton Primary, safety for our pupils is our utmost priority. Here's a breakdown of why we've made this decision:

--Safeguarding and privacy--
Reducing the use of children’s photographs helps protect pupils’ privacy and minimises the risk of images being copied, misused or shared beyond our platforms.

--Consent and changing circumstances--
Permissions can vary between families and may change over time. Avoiding children’s images provides a consistent approach and reduces the risk of publishing an image of a child whose consent has changed.

--Focus on the school community--
Our public posts showcase pupils’ achievements, learning and school life through artwork, quotes, activities and school-based imagery without identifying individual children through photographs. This is done through photos of busy hands and backs of heads to protect our pupils' identities.

Thank you to everyone who came to our Macmillan coffee morning today - together we raised an amazing £230 for the charity! There were lots of happy, smiling, chocolatey faces and all for such a good cause. Thank you to our wonderful PTA for organising, setting up and serving and to everyone who donated and attended today.
