💎 A well-deserved October GEM Award!

Today, Steve was recognised for the passion and commitment he brings to Care Plus Group.

From his important role within Urgent and Emergency Care and partnership working across our local health system, to recently completing his term as a Staff Governor, Steve consistently supports his colleagues and the wider organisation.

The Macmillan Living with and Beyond Cancer Team recently held a successful Men’s Wellbeing Session, where participants spent the morning engaging in a range of informative and supportive activities.

Guests heard inspiring talks from Andys Man Club and Ryan Page, who delivers the Community Cancer Care Physical Activity Programme. Jim, our HOPE Facilitator, led a relaxing breathing and meditation session to support wellbeing and resilience.

The group also took part in a Look Good Feel Better session and received a men's skincare gift bag. The Cancer Collaboratives were on hand to raise awareness of the early signs and symptoms of cancer, alongside colleagues from the Welfare and Benefits Team, who provided valuable advice and support.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all our guest speakers, Care Plus Group Charitable Trust for their generous donation towards the skincare products, and Mr Biggles Bakery, helping to make the event such a success. 💙

This Christmas, Quayside Medical Centre and Open Door Grimsby are collecting donations to help bring comfort and joy to local people who may be struggling over the festive period.

We're looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our friendly and supportive specialist Moving, Handling & Ergonomics Service.

This is a unique opportunity to develop expertise in complex moving and handling, specialist equipment, seating, and adaptations, while working alongside an experienced team committed to helping people maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life across North East Lincolnshire.

Whether you already have moving and handling experience or are looking to develop within this specialist area, we'll provide support, mentorship, and opportunities to grow your skills and confidence.
