Ahead of this Remembrance Day, we invite our clients, families, carers and community to share what remembrance means to you.

Many of the people we support have lived through times of conflict, service, sacrifice and incredible resilience. We would love to hear your memories, reflections and personal stories as we honour those who served and those who were affected by war.

If you have a photo you'd like to share, whether it's a loved one in service, a family remembrance, or a moment from a local Remembrance event, please post it in the comments alongside your story.

Together, let's remember, reflect and celebrate the lives and experiences that have shaped our communities.

Did you know that Care Resource Bureau was founded from a passion for providing truly personalised, compassionate home care?

In 2015, after more than 25 years of hands-on experience in the domiciliary care sector, Tricia Downes recognised that many people deserved a higher standard of care, delivered with greater dignity, choice and compassion.

Together with her son Samuel Downes, who brought eight years of experience in care administration and management, they founded Care Resource Bureau with a simple mission: to put people at the heart of everything they do.

From day one, the focus has been on delivering person-centred care tailored to each individual's needs. As the business grew, Tricia and Samuel identified a gap in high-quality complex care services and became even more determined to provide specialist support that enables people to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.

Today, Care Resource Bureau remains a proud family-run organisation, driven by the same values it was founded on: compassion, respect, professionalism and excellence in care. Every member of the team is committed to making a positive difference to the lives of clients and their loved ones.

Supporting the Whole Family, Every Step of the Way 💙

At Care Resource Bureau, we know that care is about more than supporting one individual, it's about supporting the whole family.

We're proud to see how our relationships span generations, and today we'd like to introduce Charles. Previously, Charles’ mother was one of our valued clients, and we had the privilege of supporting her and her family through her care journey.

Now, Charles remains part of the Care Resource Bureau family, and his story is a wonderful reminder that care is built on trust, connection, and long-term relationships. We understand the challenges families can face when navigating care, which is why we're here to offer guidance, reassurance, and personalised support every step of the way.

Whether you're seeking care for yourself, a parent, a partner, or another loved one, our team is committed to helping families find the right support and peace of mind.

Because at Care Resource Bureau, we don't just care for individuals, we care for families. ❤️
