Being a Witch isn't about broomsticks, warts and cloaks.

It's about being pure, intuitive and knowing there's more.
Loving nature, feeling it and being connected.
Stopping to look at the insects, flowers and skies whilst smiling like a weirdo.
Being empathetic whilst letting people be themselves knowing you can't change them.
Working with the elements.
Being creative.
Fighting negativity by neutralising it and sending it back out positive.
Trusting your body and listening to it when something feels off.
Remember your mind and body are one they're not separate from each other, you know it better than anyone.

"Ever mind the rule of 3, what you give out comes back to thee"

I love experimenting with different colours, ideas and varnishes etc. I had a load of mica powder left over from soap making, so decided to make some neon paints. Something that I could paint straight onto black that would stand out.
These are really bright in person!

Before and After
Recycled an old pine unit.
Mixed Frenchic steel teal trim paint with black for the body. Then different shades of blue green for the door and draw.
Made my own guilding gold wax to randomly rub on. Made a flat door because the original was raised and wouldn't fit my design by turning the door around and wood filling.
Used an Emma Shipley (my favourite Artist at the moment) calendar page and sanded the edges and painted to blend.

Before and After.

This needed a bloody good sorting out!
A cabinet I picked up for a tenner!
I up-cycled this to go in my seaside themed hallway as I needed more storage.
I hand painted & decoupaged. I mixed my own colours for the paint as I couldn't find the colour that was in my head on the market, I used Frenchic. I distressed the draws using six different shades.
Just need to decide if I'm using rope for the handles or tiny wood ones?

Annnnndddd so it begins 🙂
I have a few ideas for this but my hyperactive brain changes every five minutes 🤣
First strip the paint and varnish. Do I do hot pink or teal with the animal design on the table top.......... Decisions decisions.....

I've been quiet on socials as I am redesigning furniture for the lounge that's African animal themed. I've hand painted this old wooden nest of tables in Frenchic whiter than white and blackjack 2 more to go!
Then I'm upcyling an old unit (once I find one🤣) I'm really looking forward to getting started on the other 2 tables.
