Happy Halloween!! 🎃👻

What a fantastic few days of Halloween fun we've had at Alton Water! From pumpkin carving and broomstick making, to following the Halloween trail around the reservoir, it has been wonderful to see so many families and friends enjoying time here at Alton Water.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and took part. Here are just a couple of the wonderful creations you have made!! We loved welcoming you all and hope you had as much fun as we did. We look forward to seeing you back at Alton Water again soon for more adventures and events! 🎃🧡✨

Our classroom is all ready for our 'Brooms, Pumpkins, and Bewitching Tales' this week!! We had a great time with those who came at the weekend!

We were delighted to receive our annual carp stock from Priory fisheries last week. Some beautiful mirrors and commons all C4s (four summer fish) between 11lb and 20lb. We hope they quickly settle into their expansive home and go under the radar for a few years.

It has been great to hear how well previous years are doing with many of these earlier stocked fish hitting the 30lb+ bracket and beyond. Please continue to update us with your photos as it is great to chart their progress. Images can be sent to our parks email address.

We have another new arrival here at Alton!! Our new highland calf is so full of life and loves to run around!

A little reminder if you’re visiting us 👋

After an exceptionally dry spring and summer, lower water levels have exposed areas of soft, deep mud around parts of the shoreline.

If you’re visiting us, please stick to designated paths and routes, keep away from exposed muddy areas and follow the warning signs around the park. Please keep children and dogs away from the exposed shoreline too.

The mud can be much deeper than it looks, so please don’t be tempted to walk across exposed areas.

Thanks for helping us keep the parks safe for everyone.

CUSTOMER ANNOUNCEMENT 🚧

We are pleased to announce that the Watersport Centre has reopened following the floor reconstruction! Not only that, but mini golf is also operating as standard.

Visitors are more than welcome to use the facilties again and we thank you for your patience and understanding 💙

Alton Water is home to so much wildlife, and sometimes all it takes is slowing down and taking a closer look to notice what’s around us. From bird in the trees, to fish in the water, there is so much nature to appreciate right on our doorstep. 🌿🦆
