I wonder how many children have had their first experience of the great outdoors at Hawes End near ?
It was great to see the facilities beside Derwentwater and to hear about the benefits of outdoor learning.
Thanks to Gavin Smallbone, head of operations , for showing Mark Fryer, the leader of Cumberland Council, and I around the centre.
