You'll find a warm welcome awaits you here, where you'll discover a great day out for all the family! In the spring, the sights and sounds of newborn lambs, calves and chicks delight the visitors. Ducks waddle around the farmyard and paddle happily in Pix Brook, which meanders through the farm. Pigs, free-range chickens and rarer breeds of poultry can be seen as you wander around the farmyard. A pleasant picnic area is located next to an outdoor children’s play area and indoor picnic facilities are available during inclement weather. There's also the Greenway Cafe for lunch and the Snack Stop for takeaway drinks and ice creams. The farm walk takes you through surrounding paddocks, past sheep, cows, different breeds of goats and horses all contentedly grazing.

Dare you meet some of nature's creepiest creatures this Halloween?

Expert zoologist Mark Amey is bringing his Halloween Creepy Crawlies & More experience to Standalone Farm, giving families the chance to get up close to some of nature's most fascinating - and sometimes misunderstood - creatures.

From creepy crawlies to reptiles and other extraordinary animals, Mark's entertaining live show is packed with amazing facts, interactive demonstrations and plenty of opportunities to come face-to-face with creatures that are perfect for the spooky season. Sessions at 11am, 12pm and 1pm until Friday 30th.
