This Christmas, you can help someone move on from homelessness.

Christmas should mean home, kindness and belonging. Yet for people experiencing homelessness it can be an especially lonely and difficult time.

Your donation can change that. You can give someone a warm welcome, Christmas lunch and a thoughtful gift – and help them find the hope and opportunity to change their life throughout the year.

Last year 1,379 people spent at least one night sleeping rough on the streets of the Liverpool city region – one in four of all the people we supported. The Government has pledged that everyone sleeping rough will have an accommodation offer before Christmas. Your generosity can help turn that promise into hope for the future.

We are ready for Halloween in the family centres (even the Christmas tree didn't want to miss it!).

We've also given out some trick or treat bags to our Steps to Sanctuary families. We recognise it might not be safe for all children to go out where domestic abuse is a risk so we have a little something so they can still enjoy the day!

As winter approaches, we are inviting our local community to come together and donate any of the following:

🐾 Pet supplies
🥫 Non-perishable foods
🧴 Toiletries and personal care items

Every donation, no matter how small, can make a real difference to someone in need and help provide comfort, dignity and support during a difficult time.

If you would like to contribute, donations can be dropped off at our funeral home during opening hours.

Creativity can make a real difference for people experiencing homelessness. Our popular New Beginnings Arts & Crafts sessions offer a calm space to express feelings, building confidence, discover new skills and connect with others.

It was great to meet with Beacon Counselling Trust to discuss how we can work together to support individuals whose gambling could lead to financial instability, debt, relationship breakdown and even homelessness.

We’re busy planning next year’s Liverpool Cathedral Sleepout but need your help to choose the theme!
