Sinkhole on Clark Street, Stourbridge Old Quarter. Thank you to a resident for making me aware this morning that a sinkhole has appeared. I have raised this with the out of hours emergency team and Highways will be attending this afternoon.

Clifton Street, temporary repair looks like it will come loose soon, why this has been carried out but not the other ones, I don't know. Common sense answer is to do them all together and do them properly. I've reported them along with the drain that is jutting out. Ref: Cllr-842375509

One for green care, Greenfield Gardens. Overgrowth creating hiding spaces for crooks and ne'erdowells, risk to women and children if walking in the dark, plus it's untidy and minimises path use for pushchairs. Ref: Cllr-842374395

Out on a bit of a ward walk in Stourbridge Old Quarter and reporting issues that catch my eye. Electrical unit cover for street sign dislodged on Heath Street, things like this are tatty and look a mess, also a safety hazard. Ref number: Cllr-842372421. More to follow!

There will be a temporary change to refuse collections in Dudley borough tomorrow, due to the annual shutdown of the Lister Road facility. Eight refuse rounds will now be collected on Saturday instead.

Have a great bank holiday weekend, stay hydrated and have breaks in the shade. 🍻
Just remember when walking dogs, if the pavement is too hot for you to touch, it will be too hot for their paws! 🐶

I just thought I'd update Wollaston folk:

While there is lots still going on in the background with councillor introduction sessions for various departments on the council, Kam and I have been raising numerous casework pieces and attending meetings with residents. We are also getting closer to publicising our first three advice surgeries for local people to come and have a chat to us. We are here to help.

This Thursday coming is the first Full Council meeting since the election, which we are looking forward to and have plenty to plan for.

In the meantime, have a great bank holiday weekend! We will still be checking emails if you need us.
