This year Armed Forces Day is taking place in Wimbledon Village!
To mark Armed Forces Day, we’re holding our annual parade, led by the Royal British Legion, in Wimbledon Village

Residents on Southdown Road were unfairly given parking fines. I managed to get 42 fines of these cancelled.

The mill has a brake wheel with around 60 wooden cogs. 🦷
Sixty individual pieces of wood, working together to transfer the energy of the wind into the grinding of grain.
No electricity. No circuit boards. Just geometry, timber, and wind.
Engineering has always been beautiful.

Our Cllr Dan Holden went to the 3rd anniversary of the in which is a great success and founded by Andy Yates and Cllr Max Austin convened this branch of Walk & Talk.

Our Cllr Dan Holden was pleased to attend The Wimbledon Society AGM on Saturday 9th.
They are a really friendly Civic society, helping make Wimbledon a nice to live and visit.

Hillside - Merton Council Election 2026 Results.
A mixed result for Hillside on the 7th May, becoming the only Merton Council ward with split parties. One Merton Conservatives and one Liberal Democrats.
Our Cllr Dan Holden came 2nd and was successfully re-elected for the 3rd time but unfortunately our Suzanne Grocott came 4th.
Congratulations to Dan and commiserations to Suzanne. They both worked super hard and we are grateful to both for their efforts.
