A moment to mark 🚁

On 28 May, for the first time in our charity’s history, our medic one crew was staffed by an all-female team aboard the aircraft.

Captain Adele Dobler, Co-pilot Anne-Marie Goodwill, Dr Laura Kocierz, Dr Charlotte Ashworth and Paramedic Jennifer Doidge worked together to bring life-saving care across London, wherever they were needed most.

It's a milestone we're proud to celebrate - one we hope inspires more women and girls to see aviation, emergency medicine and pre-hospital care as careers they can pursue.

This summer, we are celebrating every moment we have made possible. Whether that’s a pivotal moment in someone’s career or relationship, a once-in-a-lifetime moment like witnessing the birth of a first child or a meaningful day-to-day moment like tucking a little one into bed.

Because of your support, because of every donation we receive, we’ve been able to get to the side of a critically-injured patient and secure thousands of people more moments with their loved ones. 🧡

Did you know that on average we treat six seriously injured patients every day?

It is because of supporters, like you, that our team of expert doctors and paramedics are able to provide complex medical care at scene.

It’s our Black and White Gala next month!

This year, for the first time ever, we are opening up our silent auction to give all our supporters the chance to take a look and bid on some incredible prizes.

Every year our team races to thousands of patients who are critically injured and don’t have time to get to hospital.

As a charity, only your support can make sure we raise enough money to dispatch our team every second of every day, whenever we are needed.

You don't need to be in the room to make a difference. Bid today and help make more moments possible for our patients and their loved ones. The auction is open now and will close on Friday 5 June at 8pm.

As the Mayor of Kensington and Chelsea’s year-long partnership with us comes to a close, we want to say a heartfelt thank you for the incredible support shown throughout the year.

Throughout the partnership, the Mayor of Kensington and Chelsea has raised more than £55,000 to ensure our unique team of expert doctors, paramedics and pilots can be there when a life is on the line.

We are hugely grateful to the Mayor, his team and everyone who contributed to this partnership and helped make such a meaningful impact for our charity and the patients we serve.

Thank you for helping us save lives across London. 🚁❤️

Although we only carry back a small number of our patients, training exercises like these help our team ensure they are always prepared to provide the best possible care for our patients.

In 2025, P was celebrating his A-level results with his friends when cycling through a complex junction, P was hit at speed by a driver.

Due to the severity of P’s injuries, our advanced trauma team were dispatched. On scene, our team administered P a general anaesthetic to take control of his breathing and protect his brain from further damage. We also performed a surgical procedure to his chest, a thoracostomy, to relieve the trapped air that was causing the lung to collapse. We performed an ultrasound scan which showed evidence of internal bleeding, and provided P with a blood transfusion.

These are all potentially life-saving procedures that only our team can administer on scene in London.
