Cornwall Air Ambulance Emergency helicopter service for Cornwall & the Isles of Scilly. Your charity, saving lives.
(241)

Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust exists to provide a platform for information and education about the air ambulance and to fundraise to meet the costs of flying the helicopter. Fundraising efforts are strongly supported and driven by the community in Cornwall, as well as by visitors from outside the county who also become involved. Fundraising can take many forms including sports events, village fairs, charity evenings, sponsored events, and much much more. If you would like to find out more about fundraising for CAAT please get in touch. Charity representatives are also sometimes available to give talks to community groups or schools to raise awareness of the vital work of the air ambulance. Cornwall Air Ambulance runs the Mission Maker lottery to win a top prize of £1,000 each week. For information and advice on gambling visit https://www.begambleaware.org

There’s something very special about seeing one of your helicopters come home and touch down safely at our HQ here at Newquay.

As Sunday draws to a close, we’re sending a huge thank you to everyone who supports us and helps keep us flying.

When someone needs us, getting there as quickly as possible matters.

Your crew bring specialist skills and experience to some incredibly challenging situations, providing urgent, critical care when it’s needed the most. 🚁

Your support helps make this possible across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly - thank you.

Today is Restart a Heart Day ❤️

When someone needs urgent medical help, every second is crucial - but lifesaving action can start before your crew arrives.

By learning CPR and knowing how to use a defibrillator, you could give someone the best possible chance of survival.

While sitting on the sofa one evening, John suddenly went into cardiac arrest without any warning.

At first, his wife Charlotte thought he’d simply fallen asleep until she discovered he had stopped breathing. Thinking quickly, she called 999 and performed CPR for 15 minutes to keep John alive.

Volunteer firefighters were first to arrive and immediately took over CPR. Soon after, your crew arrived to provide advanced critical care at the scene.

Every year we're so thankful to our wonderful supporters who choose to take on a running event and raise vital funds for us in the process. 👟

With general entries for both the Bath Half Marathon and Brighton Marathon now sold out, we still have a very small amount of charity places up for grabs for both of these amazing events. ✨
