Giovanna and Baby Bear welcome Amber, Amelia, Arthur, Ezra, Luke, Willow, Xander and their grown-ups to The Baby Club. In this episode, every bag contains a hat, sparking fun exploration through discovery, play, songs, and storytelling.

Grown-ups at home can join in by hiding a suitable hat inside a fabric bag or pillowcase for their little ones to uncover and enjoy. The much-loved nursery rhyme Di**le Dangle Scarecrow makes an appearance, along with a Baby Bear story. There’s also an energetic Action Song to get everyone moving, followed by some relaxing bubble time and the gentle Goodbye Song.

The Baby Club - Series 1: 1. Hat Giovanna and Baby Bear invite babies and their grown-ups to explore hats through discovery, play, song and story.

Looking for a simple, fun way to support your child’s learning at home? Try encouraging your child to have a go at writing!

All you need is:
🖊️ Pens or pencils
📄 Paper
📱 A mobile phone

This activity can help your child:
✅ Build confidence in making marks and writing
✅ Develop fine motor skills and hand coordination
✅ Recognise the sounds letters make
✅ Enjoy experimenting and expressing themselves
✅ Link writing with everyday technology

What to do:

💬 Chat together about what your child has been doing and who they’d like to share it with
✍️ Encourage them to “write” a message or sentence
📝 You can write their words underneath (if they want you to!)
📸 Send their message to a loved one or take a photo to share
💖 Enjoy reading the reply together
