What a spooktacular time we’ve had at Wellburn!

We’ve been getting into the Halloween spirit with fantastic fancy dress, lots of laughs, spooky fun and plenty of party spirit! 🎃

A day filled with smiles, laughter and making memories together. Who says you can’t have a little fun and dress up at any age? 🧡

From having our hair styled and nails pampered to enjoying a little time to relax and feel good, we love helping our residents look and feel their best.

Today we enjoyed a lovely trip to Woodhorn Museum, taking in the history and exploring the exhibits together. Afterwards, we headed to the pub for a delicious lunch and a good old chat, enjoying each other’s company.

With the weather feeling a little chilly, we swapped our usual ice cream for a warming hot chocolate, enjoying a taste of the new festive menu! ☕🎄

🎨 What have we been up to over the last few days? 🎲

We’ve been keeping busy with lots of creativity, fun and laughter! From making our own decorations and getting creative with decorating, to enjoying a variety of fun games together, there’s been plenty going on.

We’ve enjoyed classic favourites such as Hangman and Noughts and Crosses, encouraging everyone to get involved, think creatively and have a little friendly competition! 🧠

Today we enjoyed a lovely trip to Morpeth, taking a stroll around the shops before stopping off for a delicious café lunch.☕

We arrived home just in time for our Tai Chi class, giving everyone the chance to relax, get moving and enjoy some gentle exercise.🧘

A lovely day full of fresh air, socialising and keeping active!🙂

This morning, we got busy, baking a lovely chocolate cake for our wonderful laundry assistant, Julie — chocolate, of course, as it’s her favourite! 🎂

Happy Birthday, Julie! We hope you’ve had a lovely day and enjoyed your special birthday treat!

This afternoon, we got moving with some singing, dancing and plenty of smiles at our chair exercise session. Everyone enjoyed joining in, keeping active and having fun together! 🎶💃

🍕 This afternoon, we’ve been getting ready for our Italian-themed night by preparing our very own pizzas!

Everyone enjoyed choosing from all the delicious toppings and creating their perfect pizza, ready to enjoy for tea. 🇮🇹
