Today is world homelessness day and we just wanted to take a minute to thank our amazing team who work so hard in Sheffield to house people who are homeless. We also want to thank all our landlords who trust us to manage their properties. With out them there would be 128 more people who would be homeless. It really is a team effort

On the 11th October, our CEO, Steve, will be taking on the Chicago Marathon in aid of Nomad Opening Doors. While he's a seasoned runner, I know that he's had all sorts of problems over the past months - damaged ribs, foot injuries and right now he's struggling with a torn tendon in his knee.
I know he won't give up but I can see that it's going to be a tough run.
And there are only 26 days to go.
If you could support Steve and Nomad with a donation, that would be wonderful. Please follow the link below and write CHICAGO in the comments as you donate. Thank you, and good luck to Steve.

This week it will be a Thursday appreciation post instead of a Friday one. Today I want to take a minute to appreciate the unsung heroes of all organisations that hold us all together.
Ours unsung hero is Kellie. She is our Income Services and Administration Officer and she makes sure that Gracie and Laura are on time with their inspections, she makes sure all our contractors are paid, she creates all of Karen's spreadsheets because Karen can't do them herself, she stops Steve from having to deal with utility providers (he doesn't have the patience for them) and she generally makes sure we are all ok and most importantly, Kellie recognises when a trip to the sandwich shop is needed to buy bacon sandwiches.........Thank you Kellie!

Friday appreciation post! Since the 1st of April, the incredible Nomad and Four Trees Lettings teams have housed 60 people! We would like to say a massive thank you to our hard working team who do an amazing job every single day!

This is a Friday apprecation post for our hard working Nomad team.
This week they have housed 9 people! Every single member of the team plays a part in this process. That could be Mary carrying out the assessment, Chloe running the pre-tenancy workshop, Adam getting the references and arranging the viewing and Mo getting the tenancy agreement and other paperwork ready.
This is what team work looks like
