Today is World Peatlands Day!
This day is celebrated internationally every year to raise awareness of the importance of peatlands. We are lucky to manage 2 very important peatland sites - Flanders Moss and Blawhorn Moss. Peatlands are very important habitats - did you know they store 10x more carbon than any other land based ecosystem?
We will have a blog coming out in the coming days with more fun information like this as a celebration of peatlands day! Watch this space.
