🌬️ WE’RE BACK OPEN TOMORROW! 🐷🐴🦉
The storm has passed, but our spirits haven’t been dampened! 🧡
We’ve got a couple of field shelters to repair, a fallen tree to deal with and LOTS of fallen branches to move but we’re feeling incredibly grateful to have escaped any serious damage. Even our power, telephone and internet disruptions were only temporary.
Most importantly, all our animals are safe and sound. ❤️
A huge thank you for your patience and understanding while we’ve been closed. It really does mean a lot.
The safety of our team, our animals and our visitors is something we take incredibly seriously, and we know we made the right decision to close.
In fact, this is only the third time we’ve closed the site since 2015, and it’s certainly not a decision we take lightly.
Closing on a Sunday during the October school holidays has a huge impact on our little business. Not only do we know how many of you were looking forward to spending the day with us, but we also have a business to keep running and bills to pay, whatever the weather throws at us!
We’ll be processing refunds tomorrow, and we really hope you’ll choose to rebook your visit and come and see us soon. 🎃🧡
Our first priority this morning was making the site safe, securing temporary structures and assessing the damage. We then focused on stopping online bookings, contacting families with birthday party bookings and keeping everyone updated through our social media and website.
Looking back, we could also have put up a notice at the end of the road, and that’s something we’ll learn from for the future. There’s always something to take away from these situations!
Thank you again for your kindness, patience and support. It means more than you know, especially on days like this.
We’ve got some tidying up to do, but we’ll be ready to welcome you back tomorrow!
See you at the farm! 🐷🐴🦉🧡
