Attended the Mega Blood Donation Camp organized by the Indian Red Cross Society on the occasion of the 79th World Red Cross Day at Red Cross Bhavan, Agartala.
The programme was inaugurated in the gracious presence of Hon’ble Governor of Tripura and witnessed enthusiastic participation from voluntary blood donors across the district. The initiative reflects the spirit of humanity, compassion, and collective responsibility towards saving precious lives through voluntary blood donation.
Appreciated the efforts of the Indian Red Cross Society, medical teams, volunteers, and all donors for their commendable contribution to this noble cause.

📢 A meeting was held today at Noagaon Cluster under Old Agartala Block, West Tripura District, regarding the targets for the current financial year. The meeting was organised by Prahar CLF and attended by community cadres, PRI representatives, and members of the TRLM district and block teams.
The discussion focused on strengthening coordination and cooperation between the CLF and PRI Bodies to ensure successful achievement of the targets for the year. Various developmental issues and future action plans were also discussed during the meeting.
PRI representatives assured their continuous support and cooperation for improving the overall performance and functioning of the CLF, with the shared goal of making it one of the best-performing CLFs in the district.

📢 Urgent Coordination Meeting Held on “Rajyapal–Vikas Ke Rakdoot” Initiative
An urgent review and coordination meeting was convened under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate & Collector, West Tripura regarding the role of Governors in the building blocks of Sarva Shrestha Bharat as per the report titled “Rajyapal–Vikas Ke Rakdoot.”
The meeting focused on district-level data collection, inter-departmental coordination, and preparation of reports in the prescribed format for effective implementation and monitoring of developmental indicators across sectors.
Officials from Rural Development, Education, Health, Tourism, Youth Affairs & Sports, Tribal Welfare, SBM-G and other concerned departments participated in the meeting and were directed to submit compiled information in a time-bound manner.
The initiative reflects the commitment of the District Administration, West Tripura towards strengthening governance, inclusive development, and coordinated institutional action for holistic progress.

📢 Today, under my chairmanship, the District Management Team (DMT) Meeting of the District Disability Rehabilitation Centre (DDRC), West Tripura, was held at the Conference Hall of the DM & Collector, West Tripura, Agartala.
The meeting focused on various important matters related to the development, management, and effective functioning of DDRC, West Tripura. Detailed discussions were held with officials and representatives from different departments and organizations associated with disability welfare and rehabilitation to strengthen coordination and improve service delivery for persons with disabilities.
I extend my sincere thanks to all the members and officials for their valuable participation and constructive suggestions during the meeting.

📌 West Tripura District Level Training Programme for Phase-I: Houselisting & Housing Census (HLO) was successfully conducted on 6th and 7th May 2026 at the Conference Hall of Sonar Tari Guest House, Agartala.
The training programme witnessed the participation of the Principal Census Officer (DM & Collector, West Tripura), District Census Officer (ADM, PP), Sub-Division Census Officers (all SDMs), District Officials, all Charge Officers, Additional Charge Officers, and Regular Assistants of West Tripura district.

📌 An awareness programme on senior citizens was conducted today at MBB College at 11:00 AM, with active participation from students, college teachers, faculty members, and professors.
The session was chaired by the Hon’ble Sabhadhipati, West Tripura, along with the Principal of MBB College, Advocate Puja Das, and Rupayan, Founder of Mallyaban.
The programme focused on sensitizing the younger generation towards the needs, rights, and well-being of senior citizens, fostering respect, care, and social responsibility.
