Br. MSME DFO Tura organised a One-day Awareness Programme on Branding & Marketing under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme on 23 September 2026 at Capt. W.A. Sangma Govt. High School Hall, Baghmara, South Garo Hills District, Meghalaya.

Around 129 participants attended the programme which covered session on AI, Digital marketing, e-commerce, exports, entrepreneurship and others. The sessions also covered the details of various schemes of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises,Government of India and Govt. of Meghalaya.

Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises,Government of India celebrated the 3rd Anniversary of PM Vishwakarma Scheme in Dhono Dhanyo Auditorium, Kolkata, West Bengal on 17th September, 2026.

The event was graced by Sh. Jitan Ram Manjhi, Union Minister for MSME, Govt. of India, along with Sh. Suvendu Adhikari, Chief Minister of West Bengal, in the august presence of Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, Minister of State for MSME, Govt. of India.

The Scheme provides a comprehensive package of support to artisans & craftspeople comprising recognition through PM Vishwakarma certificates and identity cards, skill upgradation, toolkit incentive, credit support, incentives for digital transactions and marketing support.

MSME DFO Guwahati along with its Branch MSME-DFOs at Silchar, Diphu and Tezpur in Assam; Shillong & Tura in Meghalaya; and Itanagar in Arunachal Pradesh attended through VC mode the Third Anniversary of PM Vishwakarma Scheme event.

MSME DFO Guwahati organised a One-Day Awareness Programme on Branding & Marketing under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme on 15.09.2026 at the Goreswar College Auditorium Hall, Tamulpur, Assam.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by Sh. Maheswar Basumatary, Executive Member, Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), and Smt. Hemashri Khanikar, Additional District Commissioner (ADC), Tamulpur.
Around 100 participants attended the programme and actively participated in the sessions covering AI, e-commerce, digital marketing, exports, Udyam Registration and digital payments and various schemes of Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises,Government of India and Govt. of Assam.

As part of the programme:
🔹 20 Merchant QR Codes were generated with the support of India Post Payments Bank.
🔹 25 PM Vishwakarma artisans were provided assistance with Udyam Registration.
🔹 Vishwakarma artisans received hands-on experience with AI tools and applications such as ChatGPT.

The programme aimed to enhance the branding, marketing, digital capabilities and market access of artisans under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme.
