The school recently conducted the Curriculum Meet for Grade 1, setting a positive and encouraging tone for the new academic session ๐โจ
The Honourable Principal, Dr. Nancy Sharma, addressed the parents and shared valuable insights on nurturing young learners. She also highlighted the schoolโs vision, achievements, and academic framework ๐ธ
Teachers acquainted parents with the curriculum, innovative teaching methodologies, and a variety of engaging classroom activities. They also shared simple and practical tips to support childrenโs learning effectively at home ๐ก๐
Parents were also introduced to the new format of notebooks, helping them understand how classwork and homework will be structured and maintained โ๏ธ๐

A workshop on Drama and Theatre was conducted today for students from Grades III to XII, especially for those interested in theatre and dramatics. The session was attended by both the English and Hindi departments. The resource person, Mr. Gaurav Kumar, Theatre Professional was welcomed by primary school coordinator Ms. Mamta Solanki.
The session began with a calming meditation activity, creating a focused and positive environment. Students and teachers enthusiastically shared their experiences, expressing how the activity helped them connect with their thoughts and emotions.
Mr. Gaurav Kumar introduced the concept of acting through interactive discussion and engaging questions. He explained the key tools of actingโobservation, listening, and mannerismsโin a very effective manner. Various fun-filled activities and concentration games were conducted, where students actively participated and enjoyed learning. Simple yet impactful exercises helped them understand the importance of focus, expression, and coordination.
Overall, the workshop was highly engaging and enriching as th acting skills were imparted. It provided valuable insights into the art of acting while ensuring that students learned through enjoyment. The session concluded on a very positive and impactful note, leaving everyone inspired.

Our little learners of LKG at DAV POLICE PpUBLIC SCHOOL had a joyful and exciting Red Colour Day celebration! ๐ The day was full of fun activities that helped children explore and understand the colour red in creative ways. ๐๐
๐บ Be a Flower Activity
Children experienced becoming beautiful flowers ๐ธ by using a special cutout where their smiling faces appeared through the petals. It was a delightful and confidence-boosting activity! ๐
๐งโโ๏ธ Fairy Dress-Up Fun
Our tiny stars turned into magical fairies ๐งโโ๏ธ with lovely red feathers. They enjoyed posing and expressing themselves with excitement and imagination. โค๏ธโจ
๐ Balloon Game with a Twist
Children played a fun passing-the-balloon game ๐ using only their elbows! This activity improved coordination and teamwork while adding lots of laughter ๐ค

To enhance thinking skills, children sorted red colour cloth pegs ๐ด from other colours. This helped them recognize and identify colours in a playful way.
๐จ Creative Art โ Tomato Making
Our young artists painted paper plates ๐
to create bright red tomatoes. It was a wonderful way to encourage creativity and fine motor skills ๐๏ธ
๐ฃ๏ธ Show and Tell Activity
Children confidently spoke about red objects they brought from home ๐ like apples ๐, toys, and flowers ๐น. This boosted their speaking skills and confidence.

A meaningful assembly was conducted by grade XII Humanities students on the birth anniversary of Pandit Guru Dutt Vidyarthi, highlighting โEthics and Responsibilities of Students.โ The programme featured a soulful prayer, inspiring thought, word of the day, and a powerful speech reflecting his ideals. A short skit on thought provoking theme โMarks or Moralsโ left a strong impact. Melodious renditions like โAey Malik Tere Bande Humโ and a kavita beautifully conveyed moral values. The assembly concluded with an engaging quiz, reinforcing key learnings. It was a perfect blend of knowledge, creativity, and values, encouraging students to lead disciplined and responsible lives.

The Felicitation Ceremony for the Second Level Komal Pad of Scouts and Guides with Hindustan Scouts and Guides Haryana was conducted with great pride and enthusiasm.
