FFSC proudly presents the Launch of the FFSC Centre of Excellence – Delhi NCR, a first-of-its-kind for Design & Build Skills in the region, on Friday, 29th May 2026 at the World Class Skill Centre, Delhi.

Envisioned as an industry-led skilling initiative for the furniture, interiors, and woodworking sector, the Centre of Excellence will serve as a dedicated hub for Design & Build, offering:

✔ NCVET-certified Short-Term Training Programmes
✔ Industry-aligned job role training
✔ Furniture Production & Design (iMOS) foundation programmes
✔ Training of Trainers (ToT)
✔ Upskilling & customised training programmes

The centre features AV-enabled classrooms, modern woodworking infrastructure, and industry-relevant machinery, aimed at building a future-ready workforce for the furniture and interior ecosystem.

We sincerely thank our Sun Foundation, DECORA KITCHEN INTERIORS PRIVATE LIMITED, imos AG, Woodtech Consultants, E3 Group, Suraj Wood Products Pvt Ltd, and Bhagwan Saw Mill — for supporting this initiative and contributing towards strengthening India’s skilling ecosystem.

The centre aims to create stronger pathways for industry-ready talent and support the growing skill requirements of the furniture, fittings, interiors, and allied sectors.

Study Tour Germany | Part 3

As part of a recent held study tour to understand Germany’s vocational ecosystem, Team FFSC visited key industry and academic institutions in Detmold and Lemgo, gaining comprehensive exposure across the woodworking and furniture value chain—from materials and coatings to manufacturing, design, and higher education.

Day 1 Highlights | Train the Trainers – Soft Skills Training

FFSC has initiated a 3-day Soft Skills “Train the Trainers” program for North Region trainers from 29th April to 1st May.

We successfully conducted Day 1 at Decora × FFSC Skill Academy (Sun Foundation, Delhi NCR), led by Ms. Divya Arora, Soft Skill Trainer.

The session focused on Intrapersonal Skills – Developing Yourself as a Trainer, emphasizing the importance of self-awareness, presentation, and mindset in effective training delivery.

Key Learnings :

1. First Impressions Matter – Appearance sets the tone for communication
2. Appearance Reflects Attitude – Neat and simple dressing shows professionalism
3. Professional Grooming – Builds credibility, confidence, and approachability

FFSC team conducted a placement drive for the 10th batch of FFSC Centre of Excellence, Hyderabad students on 24rd April 2026.

Students completed 3 months of training in Multipurpose Assistant (Furniture Production & Installation: Machine Shop and participated in the placement drive, where HR rounds and employer interviews were conducted by a panel of industry experts.

FFSC extends heartfelt gratitude to its for making the placement drive a success, including ANB INTERIORS AND EXTERIORS PRIVATE LIMITED, Krissm, VM Modular Solutions Pvt Ltd and Sketch Wood Modular. Special thanks to Greenpanel Industries Limited for sponsoring the students under its CSR initiative.

The placement was held in presence of NSTI Regional Director Sri . Ravi Chilukoti, Sri Aditya Margam - Chairman Rajeev Gandhi İTİ & Group of Institutions and Dr Suman Saraf ( Founder of Madhav Autism foundation) and Mr. Manikanta Periyavaram, CSR Head of Greenpanel.

Key Highlight: This marks the 10th placement drive since the launch of the first batch in March 2024. Over 170+ students have been trained and certified, with a total of 125 securing placements, with salaries ranging from ₹32,000 to ₹15,000 per month.

Study Tour Germany | Part 2

As part of a recent held study tour to understand Germany’s vocational ecosystem, Team FFSC visited two leading vocational institutes — Ludwig-Bölkow-Schule, Donauwörth and Kaufmännische Schule Schwäbisch Hall.

Both institutes are focused on woodworking and carpentry education, with strong workshop infrastructure and a structured, industry-aligned training approach. A key highlight was their emphasis on foundational skill development, precision, discipline, and systematic learning, forming a strong base for advanced competencies.
