Our Institute commemorated the birth anniversaries of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and Dr. Babu Jagjivan Ram on 21 April 2026.
The programme was presided over by Dr. Bharati Kulkarni, Director, ICMR–NIN, along with Dr. G. Bhanuprakash Reddy, Scientist-G, and coordinated by Dr. R. Ananthan, Scientist-E, with participation from distinguished guests across scientific and administrative fields, staff and students.

Chief Guest and Padmasri Awardee Dr. K. Thangaraj, CSIR-Bhatnagar Fellow, CCMB, and Guest of Honour Shri D. Chakrapani, Retd. IAS, shared insights on social justice and inclusive equality.

Winners of pre-conducted essay and elocution competitions on Women Empowerment through Social Justice and Inclusive Equality were awarded during the programme.
