Receiving recognition and appreciation is always sheer joy for any organization. In SMCG- WB family new joy arrived. For Bhatpara Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), SMCG West Bengal has been awarded with the prestigious Build India Infra Award, 2026 by HMIC MoJS at Delhi.

Hope Returns to the Hooghly!

The endangered Gangetic Dolphin has been sighted once again in the Hooghly near Howrah Bridge — a manifestation of improving river health.
This encouraging development shows the impact of sustained conservation efforts under Namami Gange. Since Gangetic Dolphins thrive only in clean, well-oxygenated water, their return reflects a rejuvenated Hooghly River and a recovering river ecosystem.

हुगली में फिर दिखी उम्मीद की किरण!

खतरे में पड़ी गैंजेटिक डॉल्फिन को हावड़ा ब्रिज के पास हुगली में एक बार फिर देखा गया है जोकि नदी की सेहत में निरंतर होती सुधार का प्रत्यक्ष प्रमाण है।
यह शुभ संकेत, नमामि गंगे के तहत लगातार हो रहे प्रयासों का असर है क्योंकि गैंजेटिक डॉल्फिन सिर्फ़ साफ़, अच्छी ऑक्सीजन वाले पानी में ही पनपती हैं, इसलिए उनकी वापसी हुगली नदी के फिर से स्वस्थ व स्वच्छ होने और नदी के दुरुस्त हो रहे इकोसिस्टम को दिखाती है।

হুগলিতে আবার আশার আলো দেখা গেল!

হাওড়া সেতুর কাছে হুগলিতে আরও একবার বিপন্ন গাঙ্গেয় ডলফিন দেখা গেছে, যা নদীর ক্রমাগত উন্নতির প্রত্যক্ষ প্রমাণ।

এই শুভ লক্ষণটি নমামি গঙ্গের অধীনে অব্যাহত প্রচেষ্টার ফল কারণ গাঙ্গেয় ডলফিনগুলি কেবল পরিষ্কার, ভাল-অক্সিজেনযুক্ত জলে বেড়ে ওঠে, তাই তাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন হুগলি নদীকে আবার সুস্থ ও পরিষ্কার দেখায় এবং নদীর পুনরুদ্ধারের বাস্তুতন্ত্রকে দেখায়।
