The Migrant Workers Office (MWO) conducted site visits to migrant workers affected by recent fire incidents in Seocheon-gun and Hwaseong. During the visits, it was confirmed that the affected individuals had already been provided with temporary accommodations while awaiting the construction or repair of their permanent residences.

The MWO also extended financial assistance and distributed essential goods to help address the immediate needs of the affected workers. The beneficiaries conveyed their sincere appreciation for the assistance and support provided to them during this challenging period.

Further monitoring and continued coordination with the relevant agencies and employers will be undertaken to ensure the welfare, recovery, and continued support of the affected workers.

The festival featured scenic boating activities, cultural performances, and a vibrant parade showcasing unity and cultural exchange among participating communities. The event also served as an opportunity to strengthen friendship and people-to-people ties between the Philippines and South Korea.

MWO Korea expresses its appreciation to the organizers and the local community for the warm welcome extended to the Philippine delegation and looks forward to continued participation in activities that promote cultural understanding and solidarity among communities overseas.

Back-to-back serbisyo para sa ating mga kababayan! ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

Sunod-sunod ang paghatid ng serbisyo ng MWO-OWWA nitong Mayo para mas mailapit ang tulong at assistance sa ating mga OFWs sa ibaโ€™t ibang bahagi ng South Korea.

May 10, 2026 - Nakibahagi ang MWO-OWWA sa One Day Basketball League ng Chungbuk Filipino Sports Organization sa Eumseong at nagbigay ng onsite services para sa ating mga kababayan.

May 16, 2026 - Nakiisa ang MWO-OWWA sa Consular Outreach ng Embahada sa Namyangju at naghatid din ng labor and welfare services sa Filipino community sa lugar.

May 17, 2026 - Nagsagawa naman ng Labor and Welfare Outreach sa Philippine Consulate General sa Busan upang mas mapalapit ang serbisyo sa ating mga kababayan sa Busan at mga karatig na lugar.

Patuloy ang MWO-OWWA sa paghahatid ng serbisyo at suporta para sa ating mga OFWs dito sa South Korea!
