Ilbieraħ kellna l-pjaċir nilqgħu lill-Membru Parlamentari Ewropew (MEP) u Viċi Kap tal-Partit Laburista, Dr Alex Agius Saliba, fis-sede tal-Kunsill Lokali tal-Belt Victoria.
Matul din il-laqgħa kordjali ddiskutejna diversi suġġetti ta’ interess għall-Kunsill Lokali u għall-komunità tagħna, fosthom it-titlu prestiġjuż miksub ta’ Belt Kapitali Ewropea tal-Kultura.
Il-laqgħa kienet waħda pożittiva u kordjali, fejn Dr Agius Saliba esprima r-rieda tiegħu li joffri l-appoġġ kollu tiegħu lill-Kunsill Lokali sabiex ikompli jaħdem għall-ġid tal-Belt Victoria u tal-komunità Għawdxija.
Fit-tmiem tal-laqgħa Dr Agius Saliba kien preżentat kopja tal-Istrateġija Kulturali tal-Belt Victoria flimkien ma kopja tal-bid book rebbieħ tal-Belt Kapitali Ewropea tal-Kultura.
Nirringrazzjaw lil Dr Agius Saliba taż-żjara tiegħu u tal-appoġġ li wiegħed lill-Kunsill tagħna.
Flimkien għal Belt Victoria aktar b'saħħitha u għal futur mimli opportunitajiet!

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Member of the European Parliament (MEP) and Deputy Leader of the Labour Party, Dr Alex Agius Saliba, to the Victoria Local Council offices.
During this cordial meeting, we discussed various topics of interest to the Local Council and our community, including the prestigious title of European Capital of Culture.
The meeting was positive and friendly, with Dr Agius Saliba expressing his willingness to offer his full support to the Local Council as it continues to work for the benefit of Victoria and the Gozitan community.
At the of the meeting Dr Agius Saliba was presented a copy of Victoria's Cultural Strategy and Victoria' s winning bid book for the European Capital of Culture
We thank Dr Agius Saliba for his visit and for the support he has pledged to our Council.
Together, for a stronger Victoria and a future full of opportunities!
