A couple visiting us photographed these unusually pale dassies. We’ve seen plenty of dassies over the years, but this colouring caught theirs and our attention.

Has anyone seen dassies like these before, or know what might explain their colour? We’d love to hear from you.

A lightning strike recently started a fire in the mountains at Ghaub. The terrain was inaccessible, and our team worked for two days to contain it. They managed to stop the fire at the roads before it reached the rhino area or the cattle camps.

A heartfelt thank you to the Ghaub team, our neighbours and the ministry team from Grootfontein for their help. We are grateful for everyone who stepped in.
