Learning is not one-size-fits-all. Every learner has unique strengths, experiences, and needs.
The University of Baguio Library held the 11th series of Kapihan sa UB Library, themed “Every Mind Learns Differently,” on October 23, 2026, at the UB Science High School Library. The activity gathered 47 participants, composed of BEEd students from the School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts (STELA), UB librarians, and Dr. Lexter Eligio, BEEd Program Chair.
Ms. Marjorie Ganaden, a teacher from Mabini Elementary School and a UB alumna, served as the resource speaker. Through relatable, real-life scenarios, she emphasized the importance of understanding individual differences and recognizing each learner’s strengths and potential.
The session encouraged active participation, with attendees raising questions and sharing insights on how future educators can create inclusive and supportive learning environments. In her closing message, Ms. Ganaden reminded participants to look beyond a child’s struggles and recognize what the child can become.
The UB Library extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Antonio Mangaliag, STELA Dean, and Dr. Lexter Eligio for supporting the collaboration, and to Ms. Ganaden for sharing her valuable knowledge and experiences.
This initiative supports SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, reaffirming the importance of inclusive learning and collaboration.
Because every mind is different, every learner matters. ❤🩶
