𝐂𝐁𝐌𝐒 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 @ 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐭 💙

The Provincial Community-Based Monitoring System Coordinating Board of Benguet convened on 29 October 2026 at the Provincial Councilors’ League Conference Hall, Wangal, La Trinidad, Benguet.

Benguet officials, headed by Provincial Director Daisy Payang, together with partner agencies and Philippine Statistics Authority–Benguet personnel led by Chief Statistical Specialist Imelda L. Buyuccan and CBMS and Mapping Focal Person Senior Statistical Specialist Nalyn C. Esican, discussed the updates and activities in preparation for the 2027 CBMS implementation.

This collaborative effort highlights the commitment of the local government and its partner agencies to harness CBMS data in developing responsive programs, strengthening local planning, and delivering better public services for the people of Benguet.💙

On 29 October 2026, the Provincial CBMS Coordinating Board of Benguet convened at the Provincial Councilors’ League Conference Hall, Wangal, La Trinidad, Benguet.

The meeting was presided by Chief Statistical Specialist Imelda L. Buyuccan who serves as the Co-Chairperson of the Coordinating Board. This activity was attended by provincial LGU staffs, municipal LGU representatives, Philippine National Police (PNP) - Benguet personnel, Department of Interior and Local Government - Benguet headed by Provincial Director Daisy Payang, and the Philippine Statistics Authority – Benguet staff.

This collaborative initiative reaffirms the Province of Benguet’s commitment to evidence-based planning, data-driven policies, and strengthened local governance for improved public service delivery through CBMS.

This year’s NSM Media Awards (NSMMA) winners emphasized the importance of easy-to-understand statistical reporting for Filipino audiences.

The NSMMA awardees, who are media practitioners working in print, online, and television, were recognized by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) for their use and promotion of official statistics during the 37th National Statistics Month (NSM) opening ceremony on 01 October 2026.

The awardees emphasized that statistics go beyond numbers, highlighting their role in providing context to current issues, deepening public understanding, and inspiring action through accurate and meaningful reporting.

Municipal officials, headed by Executive Assistant Maria Fauline L. Busil-ac, together with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Education (DepEd) - Bakun, and Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)–Benguet, led by by Supervising Statistical Specialist Brozybroz Y. Mateo and CBMS Focal Person Senior Statistical Specialist Nalyn C. Esican, discussed the updates and activities in preparation for the 2027 CBMS implementation.
