𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝗦𝗞 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗧𝗦 𝟯𝟲𝗧𝗛 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗥 𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Paratong Norte convened its 𝟯𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 on October 18, 2026, at the Barangay Paratong Norte Session Hall, presided over by SK Chairperson Hon. Benigno C. Mon Jr.

The session focused on legislative deliberations, budget review, and strategic planning for youth development initiatives. Key matters discussed included:

- Second Deliberation of the 2027 SK Budget
- Participation in the Second Semester Barangay Assembly
- Finalization of Youth Camp Participants
- Coordination for the conduct of EcoLegance, Pammadayaw, and the State of the Barangay Youth Address

Through these deliberations, the SK Council continues to uphold transparent governance, responsible legislation, and meaningful youth representation in advancing the welfare and development of the Kabataang ParNor.

𝗞𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗢: 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁. 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁. 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲. 💚🛡️

On October 18, 2026, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Paratong Norte successfully conducted the Part II of the Katipunan ng Kabataan Congress 2026 at the Paratong Norte Covered Court, featuring three meaningful and interconnected talks focused on youth safety, peace and order, drug and terrorism prevention, and national awareness.

The session featured the Youth Safety, Peace and Order, and Community Engagement Talk; the Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo Seminar; and SEA the Future: An Awareness Talk on the West Philippine Sea. These activities were facilitated by our distinguished and knowledgeable speakers, who shared valuable insights to strengthen the awareness, understanding, and sense of responsibility of the youth toward their communities and the nation.

Through these discussions, the participants were encouraged to become more vigilant, responsible, and proactive in addressing issues that affect public safety, community peace, and national security. The talks also emphasized the importance of making informed decisions, resisting the influence of illegal drugs and terrorism, and understanding the significance of protecting our national interests, including the West Philippine Sea.

This activity was a call for the youth to stand alert, take responsibility, and become active partners in building safer communities and a more informed nation. By equipping young people with the right knowledge and values, we empower them to recognize their role in promoting peace, preventing threats, and preserving the future of the next generation.

On October 4, 2026, during the Bangar Youth Congress and State of the Youth Address, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Paratong Norte and SK Chairperson Hon. Benigno C. Mon Jr. were proudly honored with Service Awards by the Local Government Unit of Bangar, through the Bangar Youth Development Office and the Pambayang Pederasyon ng mga Sangguniang Kabataan of Bangar.

This milestone reminds us that meaningful change does not always begin with something big; it begins with people who are willing to start, willing to serve, and willing to continue. Every initiative, every program, and every effort dedicated to the youth is a step toward building a stronger and more empowered community.
