October 15–30 Highlights 🤍

Kumusta, Cabanatueños? 🥰

Medyo busy ang second half ng October natin! From courtesy calls with DSWD and Mr. Lester Acosta, MOA signing, at mga meetings sa City Hall, tuloy-tuloy lang po ang ating trabaho para sa lungsod.

Nakapagkasal din tayo sa ating mga bagong mag-asawa, nakiisa sa Flag Raising Ceremony at MANCOM, at dumalo sa reopening at ribbon-cutting ceremony ng Jollibee Circumferential Road.

Naging bahagi rin tayo ng 11th CLYP sa Dambana, budget deliberations para sa CY 2027, at siyempre, ang Halloween Trick-or-Treat sa City Hall!

Iba-iba man ang ganap, patuloy pa rin ang goal natin: mas maayos na serbisyo para sa ating mga Cabanatueño.

𝗜𝗡 𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗠 | 𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗬. 𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗔𝗥 𝗥𝗘𝗬𝗘𝗦 𝗩𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗥

It is with a heavy heart that I mourn the passing of Atty. Cesar Reyes Villar, someone I have known since I was a child and who has been part of our family’s journey through the years.

Atty. Cesar was more than a respected lawyer and a dedicated public servant to me. He was someone who shared a close bond with my father, Congressman Jay Vergara, and someone I personally knew and valued long before I became Mayor of Cabanatuan.

I will always remember his unwavering commitment to our city, his loyalty to our administration, and his genuine desire to contribute to the progress of Cabanatuan. His support and dedication were deeply valued, and his passing leaves a void not only among those who knew him personally but also among those who had the privilege of working alongside him in public service.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, we remember the person he was, the relationships he nurtured, and the years of service and friendship he shared with so many of us.

Sa pamilya ni Atty. Cesar, taos-puso ang aking pakikiramay. I know that no words can fully ease the pain of losing someone dear, but I hope you find comfort in the memories you shared and in knowing that his life and contributions will not be forgotten.

Maraming salamat, Atty. Cesar, sa iyong pagkakaibigan, sa iyong katapatan, at sa iyong pagmamahal at paglilingkod sa ating lungsod. You will always be remembered with gratitude and respect.

October 8–14 Highlights 🤍

Happy Wednesday, Cabanatueños!

Wedding duties muna tayo sa Brgy. Buliran last October 8, kasama ang pagbisita natin sa O!Save Brgy. P**a at mga meetings sa City Hall.

Last October 09 naman, nagkaroon din tayo ng meeting kasama ang LYDO Council at nakisaya rin sa gift-giving activity para sa mga teachers ng NEHS bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Teachers’ Day.

At mula Lunes hanggang ngayong Miyerkules, tuloy-tuloy ang ating serbisyo sa pangunguna natin sa iba't ibang aktibidad sa City Hall, kasama sina Asec. Daniel Alfonso Atayde, BSP, DepEd at iba't ibang organisasyon para sa Cabanatuan.

Busy ulit, pero masaya tayong makasama ang ating mga kababayan sa iba’t ibang pagkakataon. Ingat po tayong lahat!

Kumusta, Cabanatueños?

Sinimulan natin ang October with five Civil Wedding Ceremonies sa Conference Room at sa iba’t ibang lugar sa Cabanatuan. 💍

So far, 1,993 couples na po ang ating naikasal! Konti na lang at 2,000 na! Congratulations and best wishes to all our newlyweds! 🥰

Busy rin ang week with meetings and preparations—from finalizing our Teachers’ Day surprise for our DepEd Cabanatuan teachers to meetings with the United Architects of the Philippines, discussions for the CDF, and city hall matters.

Another busy week of working for Cabanatuan. 🤍

𝗦𝗘𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 🥰

-This month, naging bahagi tayo ng iba’t ibang trainings, workshops, at capacity-building activities, kabilang ang Child Rights and Online Safety Training, ARTA Workshop, at iba pang mga programa para sa patuloy na pagpapalakas ng mga serbisyo ng ating lungsod.

-Naging busy rin tayo sa mga meeting at coordination kasama ang DA, DTI, DPWH, SM, CDF, Local Health Board, at iba’t ibang opisina at organisasyon para sa mga proyekto ng Cabanatuan.
-Kasama sa mga oath-taking, awarding, inauguration, turnover, at community activities, kabilang ang Mass Oath-Taking cm Parents Congress, Rice Processing System Turnover, City Employees Day, at iba pa.

-At siyempre, hindi mawawala ang ating Civil Weddings! Marami tayong naging wedding ceremonies (halos araw-araw) ngayong buwan sa Conference Room, Training Center, Luzviminda, Tumana Villas, at iba pang venues.

-Naging bahagi rin tayo ng 2nd Regional Conference, benchmarking activity sa Ilocos Sur, PWD Federation Meeting, PESO Managers and Staff Meeting, at iba pang mahahalagang aktibidad.

Another busy month of meetings, activities, and service para sa ating mga minamahal na Cabanatueños.

Ang 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗱𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗻 ay isang proyekto ng Pamahalaang Lungsod na nagbibigay ng LIBRE, MAAYOS, AT MARANGAL NA FUNERAL SERVICES para sa mga pumanaw na residente ng Lungsod ng Cabanatuan.

Sa pamamagitan ng maayos, maasikaso, at makataong serbisyo—mula sa pagsundo, pag-aayos, hanggang sa maayos na paghatid sa huling hantungan—ang Funeraria de Cabanatuan ay nananatiling katuwang ng komunidad sa paggunita at pagbibigay-galang sa mga yumaong mahal sa buhay.

Ang kanilang tanggapan na matatagpuan sa 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗸 𝟭, 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗿𝗼, 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, ay 𝗯𝘂𝗸𝗮𝘀 𝟮𝟰 𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘄-𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘄, upang maglingkod sa publiko.

Para sa mga nangangailangan ng kanilang serbisyo at iba pang impormasyon, maaaring makipag-ugnayan sa Funeraria de Cabanatuan sa numerong 𝟬𝟵𝟭𝟴-𝟵𝟬𝟰-𝟳𝟭𝟯𝟬.

Alinsunod sa Memorandum Circular No. 132 na inilabas ng Office of the President, inaatasan ang mga tanggapan ng pamahalaan na magpatupad ng alternative work arrangements ngayong araw— Agosto 28, 2026.

Samantala, mananatiling bukas ang Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Cabanatuan at magpapatupad ng skeletal workforce arrangement sa buong araw.

Ang mga ahensyang nangunguna sa paghahatid ng mga pangunahing serbisyo, serbisyong pangkalusugan, paghahanda at pagtugon sa sakuna, at iba pang mahahalagang serbisyo ay magpapatuloy sa kanilang operasyon upang matiyak ang tuloy-tuloy na paghahatid ng kinakailangang serbisyo sa publiko.

𝗚𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗 𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝟮𝟴

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 132, work in government offices and classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be suspended in the National Capital Region and the following provinces at 1:00 p.m. on August 28, 2026, in anticipation of the further enhancement of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) by the Low-Pressure Area (LPA) that entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR):
