โThe very existence of libraries affords the best evidence that we may yet have hope for the future of humanity.โ โ T.S. Eliot
Libraries are fundamental institutions that support the organization, preservation, and dissemination of knowledge in society. They provide access to reliable information resources that assist students, researchers, and the general public in achieving educational and professional goals. Modern libraries have integrated technological innovations such as digital repositories, electronic databases, online catalogues, and virtual library services to improve information accessibility and user satisfaction. Libraries also encourage reading culture, independent learning, and intellectual creativity by providing conducive environments for study and research. Through their services and resources, libraries continue to contribute significantly to academic development, cultural preservation, and societal advancement.

The concept of mobile libraries began many years ago with book carts and travelling libraries designed to bring books and information services to people living in remote communities.
