𝐃𝐖𝐂𝐂 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂𝐔 | 15th ROTC Training Day

On May 09, 2026, the Divine Word College of Calapan, Inc. ROTC Unit conducted its fifteenth training day at the DWCC Gymnasium together with the other NSTP components.

The training day began with the invocation, entrance of colors, and the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. After the opening ceremony, the program proceeded with the recognition of NSTP student for their participation, discipline, and performance during the semester. The activity also included the awarding of certificates to the ROTC officers and cadets who showed dedication and active involvement in ROTC activities.

The program highlighted the importance of discipline, responsibility, and commitment among the cadets and NSTP students. It also served as a way of appreciating the efforts and achievements of the students throughout the training period.

𝐃𝐖𝐂𝐂 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂𝐔 | 14th ROTC Training Day

On May 02, 2026, the Divine Word College of Calapan, Inc. ROTC Unit conducted its fourteenth training day at the DWCC Open Court.

The training day focused on the Physical Fitness Test of the cadets. The activity included push-ups, sit-ups, and a 3.2-kilometer run, which were designed to measure the physical capabilities of the cadets. ROTC officers and facilitators supervised the conduct of the test to ensure safety, proper procedure, and fairness during the activity.

The activity aimed to assess the physical strength, endurance, and overall fitness of the cadets as part of their ROTC training requirements. The cadets actively participated in the different activities and demonstrated discipline, determination, and teamwork throughout the training.

The training day ended successfully with the dismissal of the cadets after the completion of the Physical Fitness Test.

𝐃𝐖𝐂𝐂 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂𝐔 | 13th ROTC Training Day

April 25, 2026, the Divine Word College of Calapan, Inc. ROTC Unit conducted its thirteenth training day at the DWCC Gymnasium.

The activity featured a lecture by 1LT Vina Del Campo on the recruitment tactics of Communist Terrorist Groups (CTGs). She emphasized the importance of vigilance, critical thinking, and awareness in preventing manipulation and promoting national security.

The training concluded with cadets gaining a clearer understanding of these tactics and the need to remain informed and responsible.

𝐃𝐖𝐂𝐂 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂𝐔 | REGIONAL ANNUAL TACTICAL INSPECTION (RAATI)

On April 06, 2026, the Army’s 2nd Infantry (Jungle Fighter) Division (2ID) conducted the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) at the Divine Word College of Calapan ROTC Unit.

The day began promptly at 0900H with the arrival of honors, setting a formal and respectful tone for the proceedings.

Under the leadership of COL VIRGILIO C HAMOS JR GSC (INF) PA, Chairman of the RAATI Team, the inspection aimed to assess the unit’s administrative processes, tactical preparedness, and documentation practices.

The activities included a comprehensive examination, map reading, assembly and disassembly of M16 rifles, close order drill, and raid and ambush exercises. These were designed to evaluate both the technical knowledge and field readiness of the cadets.

At 1630H, a closing ceremony was held, during which Colonel Hamos delivered a speech commending the participants and emphasizing the importance of ROTC training in developing disciplined and service-oriented future leaders.

The activity concluded at 1730H with a photo opportunity, capturing the spirit of dedication and excellence demonstrated throughout the event.

𝐃𝐖𝐂𝐂 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂𝐔 | 10th ROTC Training Day

On March 22, 2026, the Divine Word College of Calapan ROTC Unit conducted its tenth training day at the Divine Word College of Calapan Open Field.
The training focused on preparations for the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI). Cadets were directed to assemble at the open field, where they practiced color formation, basic rifle drills, and fundamental facing movements to enhance precision and coordination.
The activity concluded at 1150H following the successful completion of all scheduled drills and exercises.
