During our campfire activity, we gathered in two circles and took part in meaningful activities about forgiveness, healing, and encouragement. We wrote the things we wanted to forgive ourselves for, the people we once hated, and the forgiveness we were ready to give, then threw the papers into the fire and watched them burn. The fire symbolized the pain, anger, and grudges we had carried for a long time. As the flames slowly faded, it reminded us that we were learning to let go, accept the past, and move forward.

We also shared affirmations and positive words with one another by whispering messages of encouragement to each person in the circle. Many became emotional, but through this activity, we realized that 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀. We must learn to forgive, accept our mistakes and failures, and continue growing. At the end of the night, we found comfort in each other’s presence and embraced one another like a family.

​Atty. Chappy reminded us that these protocols are not meant to restrict us, but to empower us to lead more effectively and inclusively. By understanding the proper application of Robert's Rules, our student leaders are now better prepared to facilitate orderly debates, craft formal resolutions, and ensure that every student's voice is heard fairly.
