𝐈𝐠𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐬 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐲 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞
The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Igbaras, through the Municipal Treasury Office, received multiple awards during the awarding ceremony recognizing the Best-Performing Municipalities in Treasury Services in the Province of Iloilo for Calendar Year 2025. The ceremony also recognized the awardees of the “BIDA KAP-ILOILO” program for the Most Active Barangays in the Implementation of Real Property Tax Collection.
The Municipality of Igbaras received the following distinctions:
🏆Rank 10 - Municipalities in Real Property Tax Collection Efficiency for CY 2025
🏆Rank 5 - Municipality in the Collection of Amusement Tax
🏆Rank 4 – Best-Performing Municipality in Real Property Tax Compliance and Tax Amnesty Implementation
🏆Rank 15 – Municipality in the Early Submission of e-SRE Reports
In addition, LRCO Joseph Peter Erazo was recognized as the 🏆Top 4 Best-Performing Real Property Tax Focal Person in the whole province of Iloilo, while LTOO II / Acting Municipal Treasurer Marlowe E. Esmero earned recognition as the 🏆Top 15 Most Active e-SRE Focal Person in Iloilo.
Meanwhile, Barangay Boclod, under the leadership of Hon. Myrna General, was also recognized as one of the🏆Top 15 Most Active Barangays in Real Property Tax Collection in connection with the implementation of the Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform (RPVAR) tax amnesty program.
The awards were received by Municipal Mayor Juvic Elmido Escorpion, former Municipal Treasurer Ma. Asuncion Blanca, Acting Municipal Treasurer Marlowe E. Esmero, Real Property Tax Focal Person Joseph Peter Erazo, and the members of the Barangay Boclod Council, today, October 9, 2026 at Grand Xing Hotel, Iloilo City.
These recognitions reflect the Municipality of Igbaras’ continued commitment to efficient revenue collection, tax compliance, timely financial reporting, and effective implementation of local tax programs.
