Natapos na po ang imbestigation ng ating mga ka-pulisan. Lahat po ng mga reports ng mga bata ay na check at verify na walang katotohanan na may nakita silang baril. Sila po mismo ang nag amin na nasabi na lamang nila yun dulot ng takot. At yun tatlong bata na tinuturo nila na nakita ng mga bata, ay nahanap rin sa cctv, na interview na rin at napatunayang walang mga dalang baril at tumatakbo lamang dahil sa takot na narinig. Na conclude po ng ating PNP, na isang faulty wiring po ang narinig na malakas na ingay at hndi gunfire.

PROJECT READY YEAR 3 | KICK-OFF ACTIVITY & MOU SIGNING

Kalawag Central School officially welcomed Year 3 of Project READY (Resistance Education Against Drugs for the Youth) through a Kick-Off Activity and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing held on September 29, 2026.

A PNP-led initiative of the Isulan Municipal Police Station, Project READY continues to be implemented in partnership with Kalawag Central School, strengthening the shared commitment of law enforcement and the education sector to equip young learners with knowledge, values, and skills that will help them make responsible and healthy choices.

The activity was attended by all Grade 6 learners of KCS, who will serve as this year’s participants in the Project READY module. Beginning after the kick-off, the learners will undergo the module as part of its integration into the Grade 6 curriculum, with completion targeted for January 2027.

KCS was honored to be visited and supported by PLTCOL Neil S Wadingan, Chief of Police of Isulan Municipal Police Station, and Hon. Elias S. Segura, Jr., Provincial Board Member, 1st District, whose presence highlighted the strong partnership behind the program. We likewise acknowledge PSSG Manolito A Dignadice, Jr, Project READY Focal Person, for leading the program orientation and continuing to champion its implementation.

We are also grateful for the presence and support of our District Supervisor, Dr. Rima D. Magdayao, whose participation further strengthened our commitment to meaningful collaboration in promoting learner welfare and a safe, healthy, and drug-free school community.

Our appreciation also goes to Principal III, Sir Razul B. Macasayon, the teaching and non-teaching personnel, and all our partners who continue to support the successful implementation of Project READY.

As we begin another year of learning and partnership, KCS remains committed to developing learners who are not only academically prepared but also guided by strong values, informed choices, and positive life skills.

💉 BAKUNA SA ESKWELA

Kalawag Central School strengthened its commitment to learner health and disease prevention through the School-Based Immunization (SBI) 2026, conducted in partnership with the Department of Health (DOH) and the Rural Health Unit (RHU) of LGU Isulan on September 29, 2026.

The activity brought essential vaccination services closer to the school community, providing eligible learners access to Human Papillomavirus (HPV), Measles-Rubella (MR), and Tetanus-containing vaccines, as applicable. Parent/guardian consent was also secured as part of the activity, reflecting the active participation and support of families in promoting the health and protection of their children.

More than the administration of vaccines, the activity underscores the importance of prevention as a vital component of learner health and well-being. By bringing immunization services into the school setting, the program helps strengthen protection against vaccine-preventable diseases while supporting a healthier environment where learners can attend school, participate actively in learning, and thrive.

The initiative also highlights the value of strong school–health sector collaboration, bringing together the DOH, RHU Isulan, school health personnel, teachers, parents, and the wider KCS community in advancing child health and wellness.

As a recognized Healthy Learning Institution, Kalawag Central School remains committed to strengthening health promotion and preventive care as integral components of a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment.

KALAWAG CENTRAL SCHOOL RECOGNIZED AS AN OUTSTANDING HEALTHY LEARNING INSTITUTION

Kalawag Central School proudly celebrates a meaningful milestone as it was recognized as an OUTSTANDING SCHOOL during the Healthy Settings Regional Recognition and Awarding under the Healthy Learning Institution (HLI) Program.

The recognition highlights KCS’s continuing efforts to strengthen school health and wellness programs and foster a learning environment that is healthy, safe, inclusive, and supportive of every learner’s well-being.

More than a recognition, this achievement reflects the collective efforts of the entire KCS community. The commitment of our school leadership, teaching and non-teaching personnel, learners, parents, school health personnel, partners, and stakeholders continues to make health and well-being an integral part of the school experience.

KCS extends its sincere appreciation to the Schools Division Office of Sultan Kudarat, HLI Division Technical Working Group, Provincial Technical Working Group, DOH-CHD Region XII, and the Provincial Health Office of Sultan Kudarat for their guidance, technical assistance, and support throughout the HLI implementation and validation process.
