We are raising the bar for events, conventions, and large gatherings in the Province and SOCCSKSARGEN Region.

Soon, the Sultan Kudarat Convention Center will feature an additional Mega Function Hall designed to accommodate up to 3,000 delegates (seated) and 5,000 guests (standing)—providing a bigger, more dynamic space for conferences, exhibitions, and major celebrations.

With this expansion, the SK Convention Center is set to become the largest convention facility in South Central Mindanao, reinforcing our commitment to progress, connectivity, and world-class infrastructure for our people.

This is more than just a structure—this is a space where opportunities, partnerships, and milestones come together.

Nakipagkasundo si Sultan Kudarat Gov. Datu Pax Ali Mangudadatu sa National Food Authority para mapalakas ang food security at rice buffer stock management sa probinsya.

Giit ni Mangudadatu, paghahanda ito ng pamahalaang panlalawigan sa anumang krisis, kabilang na ang patuloy na pagtaas ng presyo ng langis, epekto ng kalamidad, at iba pang sitwasyong maaaring makaapekto sa produksyon, suplay, at distribusyon ng pagkain.

Hinikayat din ng gobernador ang lahat na isulong ang pagtangkilik sa mga produktong lokal bilang bahagi sa pagpapalakas ng ekonomiya at seguridad sa pagkain sa Sultan Kudarat. I via Mon Gualvez

Nagkaroon ng pagpupulong ang mga bagong miyembro ng Provincial Price Stabilization Council (PPSC) alinsunod sa direktiba ni Governor Datu Pax Ali Sangki Mangudadatu, kasunod ng pagpapatupad ng Executive Order No. 112, Series of 2026, na nagre-reorganize sa PPSC ng Sultan Kudarat bilang isang pre-emptive measure sa gitna ng tumataas na presyo ng fuel at iba pang pangunahing bilihin.

The Executive Order aims to strengthen price monitoring, supply regulation, and consumer protection mechanisms to ensure that no hoarding, price manipulation, or other exploitative practices will take place that may adversely affect the welfare of the people.

Sa pamamagitan ng mas mahigpit na koordinasyon ng mga ahensya ng pamahalaan at mga kaukulang sektor, layunin ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan na mapanatili ang patas at matatag na presyo ng mga pangunahing bilihin at petroleum products sa buong lalawigan ng Sultan Kudarat.

Alinsunod sa direktiba, ang Philippine National Police (PNP) at Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ay inaatasang tumulong sa Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Energy (DOE), at mga Local Government Units (LGUs) sa pagpapatupad ng mga umiiral na regulations at memorandum orders kaugnay ng price monitoring at market regulation.

Under the leadership of Governor Datu Pax Ali Sangki Mangudadatu, the Provincial Government remains firm in its commitment to protect consumers, uphold fair trade practices, and ensure transparency in market operations in order to safeguard the welfare of the people of Sultan Kudarat.

Mayor Ogena was not only a respected public servant but also a long-time family friend who grew up in the Municipality of Buluan and later dedicated his life to public service and the development of the City of Koronadal. Throughout his years in leadership, he demonstrated unwavering commitment, integrity, and genuine concern for the welfare of his constituents.

His leadership played a significant role in shaping Koronadal City into the vibrant center of regional governance and administration in the SOCCSKSARGEN Region. Through his dedication and vision, the City of Koronadal continued to grow as a hub of progress, opportunity, and public service for the people of the region.

Mayor Ogena’s life stands as a testament to the values of service, humility, and leadership. His contributions to local governance and regional development will forever be remembered not only by the people of Koronadal but by the entire SOCCSKSARGEN community.

In this time of sorrow, we join the people of Koronadal City and the whole region in mourning the loss of a remarkable leader and a dear friend. May his legacy of service continue to inspire future generations of public servants.
