The DILG Malita Field Office officially conducted the Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangays (SGLGB) assessment and ocular visit in Barangay Bito, Municipality of Malita. The activity aims to evaluate the barangay’s compliance with the prescribed governance standards and indicators, while promoting transparency, accountability, and effective public service delivery.

Through this initiative, the assessment team conducts an on-site validation of the barangay’s governance practices, programs, and supporting documents to determine areas of compliance and identify opportunities for improvement. The DILG Malita proudly congratulates Barangay Bito, headed by Punong Barangay Hon. Janice B. Martin, for the outstanding achievements and dedication of its Lupong Tagapamayapa during the Provincial Awarding Ceremony of the Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) CY 2026, held on October 28, 2026, at the Provincial Capitol, Lais, Davao Occidental, in celebration of the Araw ng Davao Occidental.

This recognition highlights the commitment of Barangay Bito's Lupong Tagapamayapa to promoting amicable settlement of disputes, strengthening community harmony, and upholding peace and order through effective implementation of the Katarungang Pambarangay System.
