Santiago City EOD and Canine Unit together with Santiago City Police Office conducted simulation exercise regarding Unattended Baggage. The simulation exercise is aimed to assess the readiness and coordination of responding personnel in handling explosive-related incidents, from initial threat reporting, identification, and response procedures. The activity tested the team’s operational efficiency, adherence to safety protocols, and capability to manage high-risk situations under simulated real-world conditions.

πŸ“’In line with the PNP Focused Agenda on Enhanced-Managing Police Operations, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, Director, PNP-EOD/K9 Group, personnel from the Provincial EOD and Canine Unit (PECU) Apayao, RECU CAR, carried out Shock and Awe Operation Through Foot Patrol and Police Presence in relation to LIGTAS SUMVAC 2026 and to preempt any illegal activities of lawless elements within the area of responsibility.
