The Department of the Interior and Local Government Pampanga Provincial Director Myra B. Moral-Soriano, CESO V, awarded the Seal of Child Friendly Local Governance to the Municipality of Santo Tomas on May 25, 2026

The award was received by Vice Mayor Gloria P. Ronquillo, Administrator Reynaldo C. Ingal, MSWDO Sharon G. Yumul, and the members of the Sangguniang Bayan.

Kudos to Mayor Johnny A. Sambo and the whole municipal team for their efforts in creating a safer, child‑friendly environment.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government Pampanga conducted a provincial-level assessment and leveling-off activity for potential passers from the seven (7) barangays of Santo Tomas. The activity was held at the 3rd Floor Conference Room of the Municipality of Santo Tomas Pampanga.

The activity aimed to ensure the proper and complete submission of documents and to guide the barangays in meeting the required standards. It also served as a venue to discuss concerns and clarify the assessment process.
