Usa ka 29-anyos nga construction worker ang nasikop sa gilusad nga anti-illegal drugs operation sa mga operatiba sa Tagbilaran City Police Station (TCPS) pinaagi sa City Drug Enforcement Team (CDET) sa Barangay Dampas, Tagbilaran City, alas 9:36 sa gabii niadtong Hunyo 23, 2026.

Ang operasyon nga gipangulohan ni PLT Greg L. Reyes ubos sa direktang pagdumala ni PLTCOL Joey M. Bicoy, OIC sa TCPS, ug adunay koordinasyon sa Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), misangpot sa pagdakop sa suspetsado.

Narekober gikan sa suspek ang duha (2) ka heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets nga adunay puti nga kristalinong substansiya nga gituohang shabu nga adunay kantidad nga 2.8 gramos ug Standard Drug Price (SDP) nga P19,040.00.

Ang mga nakumpiskar nga ebidensya gidala sa hustong otoridad alang sa laboratory examination ug dugang imbestigasyon, samtang ang suspek giandam na alang sa pagsang-at sa kasong paglapas sa Republic Act 9165 o ang Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Padayon ang TCPS sa iyang kampanya batok sa illegal nga droga aron mapanalipdan ang komunidad ug mapadayon ang kalinaw ug kahapsay sa Dakbayan sa Tagbilaran.

Isip kabahin sa pagpalambo sa seguridad, gipalig-on usab sa BPPO, TCPS, ug sa lokal nga kagamhanan ang koordinasyon ug pakigtambayayong sa mga eskwelahan sa Dakbayan sa Tagbilaran. TCPS Conducts Firearm Inspection and Inventory; COP Emphasizes Responsible Firearm Custody and Enhanced School Police Presence

The Tagbilaran City Police Station (TCPS), under the leadership of the Chief of Police, conducted a comprehensive inspection and inventory of all government-issued fi****ms assigned to TCPS personnel to ensure accountability, proper maintenance, and compliance with existing regulations on firearm custody.

During the inspection, the Chief of Police emphasized the importance of the safe keeping, proper handling, and responsible use of issued fi****ms. Personnel were reminded of their accountability for government-issued fi****ms and were informed of the corresponding administrative and criminal liabilities that may arise in cases of negligence, loss, misuse, or unauthorized handling of fi****ms.

The COP further stressed that every police officer must uphold the highest standards of discipline, professionalism, and responsibility in carrying and safeguarding their issued fi****ms at all times.

In light of recent incidents that have raised public concern regarding firearm safety, TCPS likewise reinforced its directive to strengthen police visibility and security presence in schools and other public places. This proactive measure aims to help prevent untoward incidents, ensure the safety of students, teachers, and school personnel, and maintain peace and order within the community.

TCPS remains committed to promoting responsible firearm ownership among its personnel, enhancing public safety, and fostering a secure environment through vigilant law enforcement and community partnership.

In light of the recent tragic incident in a school in Tacloban City, the Tagbilaran City Police Station (TCPS) immediately conducted visits and coordination meetings with school heads and administrators within the city to assess and strengthen existing security measures in educational institutions.
During the consultations, TCPS discussed possible enhancements to school security systems, including the installation and upgrading of CCTV cameras, the use of metal detectors, and the improvement of access control and security protocols for school guards. These proactive measures aim to ensure a safer learning environment for all students, teachers, and school personnel.
TCPS also engaged with guidance counselors and school officials, emphasizing the importance of expanding monitoring and intervention efforts, especially in addressing bullying and other behavioral concerns among students. Teachers and school personnel were encouraged to be more vigilant and attentive to warning signs that may affect the well-being and safety of learners.
Moreover, TCPS highlighted the vital role of parents in shaping the values, character, and behavior of their children. Safety and discipline begin at home, and strong parental guidance remains one of the most effective ways to prevent violence and promote responsible citizenship among the youth.

Ang pagdakop nahitabo atol sa hot pursuit operation nga gihimo niadtong Hunyo 21, 2026, human sa usa ka insidente sa pagpangawat nga gitaho sa usa ka residente sa Brgy. Dao, Tagbilaran City. Nakatabang sa pag-ila sa mga suspek ang usa ka testigo nga mipahigayon og positibong pag-ila pinaagi sa mga litrato sa mga suspek.

Nagpadayon ang imbestigasyon alang sa hustong pagpasaka sa mga kaso batok sa mga nadakpan.
Ang Tagbilaran City Police Station nagpasalig sa padayon nga pagpanalipod sa katawhan ug sa walay hunong nga kampanya batok sa kriminalidad.
