The Buddy System is an initiative designed to promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment by encouraging learners to help, guide, and support one another in school. Through this program, learners are encouraged to develop friendship, cooperation, empathy, and a sense of responsibility for the well-being of their classmates. It also aims to help learners feel more comfortable, connected, and confident as they participate in school activities.

We would like to inform and orient all parents and learners about the purpose, guidelines, and implementation of the Buddy System at TSES. The active involvement and cooperation of parents are essential in ensuring the success of this initiative. With the partnership of teachers, parents, and learners, we can strengthen positive relationships, promote kindness and respect, prevent bullying and exclusion, and ensure that every learner feels valued, supported, and safe in our school community.

Let us work together in building a caring school environment where no learner is left behind, and everyone has a buddy who cares.

Taloy Sur Elementary School successfully celebrated Global Handwashing Day on October 15, 2026, with the active participation of 233 learners. The activity aimed to promote proper handwashing practices and raise awareness of the importance of personal hygiene in preventing the spread of diseases.

Through health reminders and demonstrations, learners were encouraged to wash their hands properly with soap and clean water, especially before eating and after using the toilet. The activity emphasized that regular handwashing is a simple yet effective way to prevent illnesses and maintain good health.

Overall, the celebration strengthened learners’ awareness of proper hygiene and encouraged them to practice healthy habits both at school and at home, contributing to a cleaner, healthier, and safer learning environment.

The National School Safety Week activity at Taloy Sur Elementary School was successfully conducted on October 15, 2026, facilitated by Ana Miriam K. Santos, Administrative Officer II and School DRRM Coordinator.

The activity aimed to strengthen awareness and preparedness in promoting a safe, secure, and disaster-resilient learning environment. It was attended by 233 learners, 13 school faculty and staff members headed by Jennifer M. Cados, parents, three (3) PNP personnel from MPS Tuba, and representatives of the BLGU Taloy Sur.

The school was honored by the presence of Hon. Sibayan Juan, Barangay Captain; Hon. Lourence Sal-ongan, Barangay Kagawad; and PNP personnel PSMS Manuel M. Fang-asan, PSMS Claro S. Pacio, and PCPL Renante S. Rufin, who delivered solidarity messages emphasizing the importance of cooperation among the school, law enforcement, parents, and the community in ensuring learners' safety.

Overall, the activity strengthened school-community partnerships and promoted a culture of safety, preparedness, and resilience at Taloy Sur Elementary School.

Nourishing minds begins with informed hearts. 🌱🍽️ Today, we gathered parents, teachers, and stakeholders for our School-Based Feeding Program Orientation, strengthening our shared commitment to promoting the health, nutrition, and well-being of every learner. Ma'am Jennifer Cados, the school principal, and ma'am Maria Cathlea A. Pulig, the school nurse ,led the said orientation. We take another meaningful step toward a healthier and brighter future for our children. 💚
