The teachers of 𝑫𝑯𝑨𝑪𝑺𝑺 𝑷𝒉𝒂𝒔𝒆 𝑰𝑽 𝑪𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒖𝐬 attended a professional development workshop titled “𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑾𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑵𝒆𝒘 𝑩𝒓𝒐𝒂𝒅𝒘𝒂𝒚”, organised by Oxford University Press on October 31, 2026.
The session focused on effective reading strategies, structured writing techniques, SQ3R, modelled, guided and independent reading, and interactive classroom activities. It highlighted practical approaches to improving students' comprehension, vocabulary, writing skills and confidence through engaging, student-centred learning.
The valuable insights shared during the session empowered our educators to cultivate stronger literacy foundations in the classroom and foster a dynamic learning environment that inspires critical thinking and lifelong reading habits.
