In compliance with the directives of the Provincial Government, under the supervision of Kamran Khan, Director General LG KP, Manzoor Ahmad Afridi, Deputy Commissioner Dir Upper, and the Assistant Director (Senior) LG&RDD Tehsil Headquarters Dir, the Secretaries of all 117 Village Councils of District Dir Upper are actively engaged in a special cleanliness campaign during Eid-ul-Azha.

The Secretaries of Village Councils are continuously busy in the collection and proper disposal of sacrificial animal waste and remains, the cleaning of bazaars, streets, drains, and other public places through janitors to ensure a neat, clean, and hygienic environment for the general public across the district.

In compliance with the directives of the Provincial Government, under the supervision of Kamran Khan, Director General LG&RDD Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Manzoor Ahmad Afridi, Deputy Commissioner Dir Upper, Mr. Badshah Zada, Assistant Director (Senior) LG&RDD Tehsil Headquarters Dir, visited various Village Councils to inspect the special cleanliness campaign being carried out before and during Eid-ul-Azha.

The campaign includes the cleaning and sanitation of Bakra Mandis, bazaars, streets, drains, Eidgahs, and other public places to ensure a neat, clean, and hygienic environment for the general public across District Dir Upper.

The Local Government Department remains committed to providing better sanitation services and maintaining cleanliness during the blessed occasion of Eid-ul-Azha for the convenience of the community.

The Secretaries of Village Councils are ensuring the cleanliness of Eidgahs and Masajid through janitorial staff to facilitate worshippers during Eid-ul-Azha prayers in various areas of District Dir Upper.

This initiative reflects the commitment of the Local Government Department towards maintaining cleanliness, public hygiene, and providing a clean environment for the community during the blessed occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
