An internal review meeting of the Balochistan Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (B-TEVTA) was held at the headquarters under the chairmanship of Director B-TEVTA, Mr. Sirbuland Khan. The meeting focused on implementing advanced skills development initiatives and international certification programs to enhance global employment opportunities for the youth of Balochistan.
The forum reviewed ongoing technical training programs across TTCs and VTCs, discussed aligning vocational training with international market standards, and explored expanding the Chief Minister’s Youth Skill Development and Overseas Employment Program in line with the vision of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti.

A successful one-day Digital Fluency Workshop was conducted at Serena Hotel under the TVET Sector Support Programme.
The workshop focused on digital communication, social media content creation, short-form video editing, and improving the digital visibility of TVET institutions. It also encouraged collaboration and networking among participants for future engagement and outreach.

*Strengthening TVET Leadership: Successful Completion of 6-Day Institutional Excellence Training for COE Quetta Management Personnel*
Balochistan TEVTA, in collaboration with the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) under the Team Europe TVET Sector Support Programme, successfully concluded a 06-day face-to-face training for management personnel of COE Quetta, held from 15–20 May at Serena Hotel, Quetta. A total of 20 management personnel from COE Quetta participated in the programme, which focused on Institutional Excellence and TVET leadership, delivered by international consultants.
The concluding ceremony was graced by the Managing Director B-TEVTA, Mr. Hamood-ur-Rehman, along with Director B-TEVTA, Surbuland Khan, and Deputy Director HR, Ghazal Nagi, who appreciated the successful completion of the training and emphasized the importance of strengthening leadership and institutional capacity within the TVET sector.

Today a meeting was chaired by Managing Director B-TEVTA regarding integration process of all Technical Training Centres (TTCs) of Balochistan.
Meeting was attended by Director Manpower & Training Irshad Ahmed Baloch along with Principals of Technical Training Centres (TTCs) across province while remaining Principals attended meeting online.
During meeting Assistant Director Syed Taimoor Zafar briefed Managing Director B-TEVTA on key issues ongoing coordination HR data and latest updates regarding integration process.
Officials from B-TEVTA, including Director Sarbuland khan Deputy Director Ghazal Nagi Assistant Director Nazia Ahmed Assistant Director Yasir Adnan and Assistant Director Behram Zakir also attended meeting.

Today an important consultative session on the Balochistan Apprenticeship Bill 2026 was held at Serena Hotel Quetta under the chairmanship of Mr. Hamood Ur Rehman MD B-TEVTA. The draft bill was presented by GIZ in collaboration with B-TEVTA, with participation from representatives of all concerned departments.
Officials from B-TEVTA, including Deputy director Ghazal Nagi, Assistant director Taimoor Zafar, Assistant director Yasir Adnan, Assistant director Ghulam Raza, and Internal Auditor Javed Iqbal, attended the session along with Hussain Baksh Magsi DG NAVTTC. During the meeting, participants discussed the key provisions and implementation framework of the draft bill aimed at strengthening apprenticeship and skills development opportunities in Balochistan.

Today, a meeting of the Oversight Committee was held at the B-TEVTA Conference Room regarding equipment delivery and assessment of renovation work at COE TTC Quetta by the GIZ engineering team, in which the GIZ Engineering team gave a detailed presentation on renovation work and identified key gaps.
The meeting was attended by members of the Oversight Committee, officials from B-TEVTA including Ms. Ghazal Nagi (Deputy Director Admin/HR), Syed Taimoor Zafar (Assistant Director Academics), Ghulam Raza (Assistant Director Operations), representatives from GIZ, Principal TTC Quetta Khair Muhammad Rind, Additional Director Technical Education Arifa Ali, and Maqbool Ahmed from the Directorate of Manpower.
