Today is Mothers' Day. We honour the mothers, grandmothers, mentors, spiritual mothers in Cambodia who are quietly building something far greater than what our eyes can see.

With every stitch, every act of service, kindness and love, every prayer, every sacrifice, and every lesson taught to those around you, you are shaping a legacy.

You are not only working hard to provide for your own families. You are helping to build a spiritual legacy for your community.

You are showing the next generation what love looks like. You are teaching children that they are seen, valued and loved by our Heavenly Father.

This photo was taken after a well-deserved celebratory meal, a little pause to give thanks and honour the hands and hearts behind every beautiful Mother’s Day gift.

From Singapore, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to each of you. Every stitch, every item packed, every tag tied, and every gift prepared has travelled further than you imagine. Because of you, mothers in Singapore are being blessed this Mothers' Day. Through these gifts, your stories of love, skill, dignity, perseverance and hope are being shared across churches. You are not just making products. You are part of a beautiful double blessing: blessing the mothers who receive these gifts, while also helping your own families and communities flourish.

This Mothers' Day, our hearts are full of gratitude.

We are so deeply thankful for the Women's Society of Christian Service (WSCS) of Methodist Churches across Singapore who have chosen to bless their mothers with handcrafted gifts from Flourish.

Each mobile phone carrier, water bottle carrier, bible wallet and heart-shaped oven mitten has been lovingly handcrafted by mothers whose hands are learning, creating and rebuilding hope.

Thank you for this double blessing! Blessing the mothers who receive these gifts with something beautiful, practical and handmade with love. While blessing the mothers in Cambodia who made them with meaningful work, dignity, encouragement and the joy of knowing their labour of love is making their way to another mother's heart.

As we close 2025 and step into a brand new year, we pause with grateful hearts, thanking God for His goodness and faithfulness.

At our first Flourish Family Retreat in Kampot–Kep over the past 2 days, we’ve seen God’s goodness and faithfulness made visible. What a blessing it is to witness our artisans with their husbands and children, extended families coming together to worship and pray together.

Reflecting on 2025, being the first year Flourish became part of the wider Methodist Missions Society (MMS) family, we are thankful for more Cambodian churches such as Antioch and Odem coming alongside. In Singapore, we are grateful that many more Methodist churches have opened their doors to us, leading to new partnerships, more opportunities, and support for our women and their children and families.

As we look ahead, 2026 is a year of making more space for God, deepening prayer and worship, and trusting Him to lead and open doors we cannot open on our own. Our prayer remains simple: that every Flourish artisan will see her family strengthened, her church rooted, and her community blessed. Praying that what God has begun in her hands will continue to grow in her heart and overflow to others.

“Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish.” (Psalm 92:13)
