Not all sacrifices are visible.

Sometimes, they quietly exist in the ways people continue showing up for others with patience, compassion, responsibility, and care.

Across different roles and experiences, these quieter acts of support may happen behind the scenes, but they are often deeply felt by the people around them.

This Hari Raya Haji, we honour the quieter acts of sacrifice that continue shaping our communities behind the scenes 💖

May this Hari Raya Haji bring peace to your homes, warmth to your hearts, and meaningful moments with your loved ones. ✨

From all of us at PPIS, Selamat Hari Raya Haji! 💖

Families are often seen through milestones, but behind many of these moments is something less visible - a network of support. 💚

The Ministry of Social and Family Development’s Family Trends Report 2025 found that:
• 9 in 10 parents reported moderate to high family resilience
• About 83% ranked family among the top sources of support for seniors
• More than 90% agreed that close grandparent–grandchild ties are important

These findings remind us that resilience rarely happens alone. It is strengthened through relationships, caregiving and support across generations.

At PPIS, we see this every day. Families don’t experience challenges in silos. Support shouldn’t happen in silos either.

Today, on International Day of Families, we recognise that behind every family is a story — of love, resilience, sacrifice, change, and hope 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦❤️

Families come in different forms, shaped by different experiences and challenges. Yet each family deserves support, understanding, and opportunities to thrive.

At PPIS, we believe strengthening families means strengthening communities. Through every stage of life — from early childhood and parenting, to caregiving, wellbeing and life transitions — support systems matter.

Because when families are supported, individuals flourish, communities grow stronger, and futures become brighter.

This International Day of Families, we celebrate not only families, but the collective care that uplifts them.

✨A Milestone for Our People, Our Purpose✨

PPIS is honoured to receive the NTUC Plaque of Commendation - a meaningful recognition of organisations that go beyond employment - supporting their people, strengthening workplace relationships, and investing in their growth.

Representing PPIS to receive the award was Ms Aidaroyani Adam, CEO, who was accompanied by Mr Mohamad Effendi Basri, Senior Director, Finance, Mr Wong Wai Meng, Director, Human Resource, and our HR, Strategic Marketing and Partnerships and Rise Above Halfway House colleagues.

This means a lot to us, as it reflects the everyday efforts behind the scenes - the care, the trust, and the commitment to help one another grow

Because the impact we create in the community begins with how we care for our own 🌱✨

This Mother’s Day, we celebrate the women who quietly fill our lives with warmth, care, and comfort in ways both big and small 💐✨

From guiding us through difficult moments to celebrating life’s everyday joys, mothers and mother figures often become the steady light we turn to - offering warmth, comfort, and strength through every season of life.

At PPIS 7oaks Student Care (Jurong), our students spent the afternoon creating handmade gifts specially for their mums - each one thoughtfully crafted with creativity, care, and love.

Sometimes, the most meaningful gifts are the ones made by hand.

Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers and mother figures! 💖

✨🎭 Not all forms of care happen within four walls - some are found in shared spaces, stories, and moments that bring people together.

On Sat, 18 April, residents from PPIS Rise Above spent a day at Esplanade, experiencing the magic of Pesta Raya - Malay Festival of Arts. They caught La Luna, an Esplanade Commission for Pesta Raya, and also enjoyed live music by the waterfront.

This marks our fourth year being part of this experience since 2023, and each time, it continues to be a meaningful opportunity for our ladies to connect with the arts in ways that are joyful, healing, and deeply human.

We are grateful to our community partners who make this possible. Thank you to Esplanade for championing access to the arts, and to PropNex for sponsoring the theatre experience this year.

When communities come together with intention, small moments like these become something much bigger - spaces for connection, confidence, and quiet restoration.

We welcome like-minded partners who believe in creating more moments like these.

Work is more than a job - it is purpose, resilience, and care in action.

At PPIS, this shows up in quiet, everyday moments:
✨ The patience of a social worker journeying with a family through uncertainty
✨ The dedication of staff and volunteers who show up, day after day
✨ The unseen efforts behind every programme, every conversation, every small breakthrough

This Labour Day, we honour not just the work that is done, but the hearts behind it - the compassion, strength, and commitment that drive meaningful change in the lives of women, children, and families.

Because at the heart of everything we do, it has always been about people.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Together, we continue to light lives and build stronger communities.
